 🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 22, 2014

Liam and I had spent the rest of the day cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix and eating some holiday cookies Fate made – she was making test cookies for the party we were going to have Christmas Eve and neither one of us complained because Fate is an excellent baker. Is there anything she can’t do? Moving away from Fate’s amazing skills in the kitchen, Liam and I talked, kissed, laughed and smiled during our time together which was soon ruined once Fate was done in the kitchen, finally deciding on dark chocolate cookies with peppermint chunks and white chocolate, and had conveniently sat between me and Liam.

He decided to stay the night though, so despite Fate’s actions, our night continued on. Of course, nothing happened between besides late night thoughts and kisses but Fate once again didn’t seem to think so as she woke us up, this time giving us almost two hours to get ready for work, yelling that we finally did the deed.

“I seriously want to stab her sometimes,” I mumble tiredly, still lying on the bed with eyes closed. Liam still laid beside me, face buried in my neck and arm thrown over my waist.

“I’m okay with that,” he says with an amused tone. I laughed, ignoring the sensation I got when his lips had brushed my skin. Eventually, we had to get out of the comfort of my bed and start getting ready for work. Because after work, I’d come back with the job of helping Fate set things up for the party – which I had dragged Liam into helping us saying that he was taller and that I’d reward him with more kisses if he did so. He agreed immediately.

Work had gone by relatively fast, I guess it was because when there’s more work to be done, time just flies by. Since there are only a few days till Christmas, there were many parents or teens with last minutes shopping to do and a bunch of kids wanting to meet Santa before he “goes back to the North Pole”. Everyone just takes the elves for granted, don’t they? Before leaving the mall and back to my apartment, Joe and Fae had teased us to no end about how it’s fate that we’re together and that they ‘told us so’ and that we’ll be together forever and have the cutest children.

“I just want to stab everyone today,” I tell Liam once we get away from the teasing pair. Liam hums in agreement before taking grasp of my hand.

Honestly, I didn’t think putting up Christmas decorations would be such a hassle but once again, I’m proven wrong because so far, every light we would hang up would come tumbling down and other accents would seem misplaced. Liam simply said that we were terrible decorators before taking over. Which, looking at now, I should’ve let him done it himself in the first place because lights were hung around the living room – turning on and off to the beat of Christmas music – there were small accents of red and green spread out, a wreath hanging over the door, mistletoe handing in the arch between the living room and kitchen and best of all, there was a Santa and three little elves placed on a table next to the couch.

I turned to Liam with a smile. “I didn’t know we had those figurines.”

“You don’t.” He shrugged, hands now on my hips. “It’s just part three of you gift – how we met.”

“Come here,” I tell him, heading toward the kitchen but stopping in the archway. I look up to the mistletoe, making him do the same. “Look at that, another mistletoe to make us kiss.”

“You say that like it’s a bad thing,” he muses before pressing his lips to mine, I could feel him smile. And right then, we had the most passionate kiss ever, ignoring Fate’s gagging noise and enjoying what we shared.

(A/N): heeeeeey, this one’s cute! Only three days left, hold crap, this went by so fast I can’t believe it! But like I told you all, these last few chapters will be fluff and no trouble so that’s a good thing. Anyways, I’ve established that there will be an epilogue because I like even numbers and if I stopped on Dec. 25th it’d be an odd number of parts so yes, there will be one! I hope you liked this chapter!

Please vote, fan, comment – step on a tomato because why not?
