 🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 25, 2014

The Christmas party turned out to be a success, much to Fate’s doubt. It was a positive aura through the night, with a chorus of “Merry Christmas” once the clock struck twelve. I had a great time, catching up with some friends I haven’t seen in months – mostly people I met through Fate –, learning more about Joe and Fae as well as introducing Liam to everyone and being next to him the whole time.

That may have come off as clingy but it was Liam who stood by my side, his arm wrapped around my waist while pressing kisses to my temple occasionally emerging himself in the conversations I had with friends. Later, when we were helping Fate clean up, I asked him why he had done so.

“Just want to let everyone here know that you’re mine,” he replied with a brilliant smile before picking up some cups that littered the floor. Once more, Liam spent the night as did Fae and Joe because they had too much to drink and no way was I going to let them drive home drunk.

The next morning, Fate storms into my room and starts hitting Liam and I with a pillow. She was seriously like a kid on Christmas. After bidding Joe and Fae a goodbye, Fate pestered me to start opening gifts. Which consisted of the ones we bought, some that our parents or long distance friends sent over and one that simply said, “From: Santa” – I could make a guess on who that one is from.

Fate had gone first. She received more cooking supplies from her parents, all in her favorite color, purple as well as receiving cute leggings I’ve seen her eye every time we’d go to the mall – they were soft with reindeers on them. She also got a gift card from her friend (and crush), John, for Forever 21 as well as a note that says ‘Sorry this is such a crappy gift but I know you love this store x’. He got me a gift card to Starbucks.

I handed Liam box, a grin on my face as he narrowed his eyes at me. “I told you I didn’t want a gift, love.”

“Trust me, you need this,” I tell him with a grin. Rolling his eyes, but unable to fight the grin off his face, he opened the gift and laughed quite loudly making Fate jump up to see what he got.

“Blake,” Fate says slowly, a smile forming on her face, “you are seriously the best.”

“I love it,” Liam says as his eyes scan the title of the book again. “’How to Be a True American’… I thought you liked my British roots.”

“I do, but seriously, the back of a car is called the trunk not the boot,” I emphasize because we had an argument about this after Liam had given me the giant bear. I told him to put it in the trunk so it wouldn’t block the back window which resulted in him giving me scrunched eyebrows and a reply of ‘you mean the boot?’ – this argument lasted twenty minutes.

The book consisted of proper terms for everything. Since Brits have different words than us Americans, I thought this would be perfect for Liam since he thinks I’m so charmed by his Brtish-ness. And I really am, but he should know that they’re called French fries not chips.

“Now, open that one,” Liam says pointing to the large gift that claims it’s from Santa.

“Santa as in you?” I question, getting up from my spot on the sofa to drag the gift away from the tree. Liam raises his hands, a grin on his face.

“You caught me,” he plays along, leaning over to peck my lips before gesturing to the gift once more. “Now, open it.”

   And I did.

(A/N): MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Lol, yes I left this at a cliff hanger but thank goodness there is a epilogue otherwise I’d be yelled it (maybe not but let me pretend). Now, I think Blake’s gift was cute – I’d definitely give that to a boyfriend if he was foreign. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoyed the final chapter! The epilogue will be posted probably tomorrow x

Please vote, fan, comment – and have a Merry Christmas because why not?

P.S. Christmas gif x
