🎁 Blake Christian – Dec. 14, 2014

Because of Fate’s blackmail, I didn’t ignore Liam that day but that didn’t mean he’d avoid me. When I had arrived at the dressing room, Fae was already dressed and was currently putting her hair into braids, Joe was slipping on his shoes and Liam wasn’t present. My heart stopped for a second, my eyes darting around but I couldn’t find him.

“Looking for someone?” Fae teased as she tied the end of her braid. I threw her a glare before walking over to my locker and taking my clothes out. I saw her shrug. “He texted me saying that he overslept and to cover him if Ted is looking for him.”

My lips parted as I stared at her. “You have his number?”

“Yeah, he gave it to me the first day we met saying that most likely he’ll oversleep one day and he’ll need to inform us to cover for him,” she replied and after a beat of silence passed she turned to me with a grin. “Why, are you jealous and want his number too?”

   I scoffed. “No.”

Liam hadn’t spoken to me when he had zoomed into the dressing room, threw his clothes on as quick as possible before we all went out to start our shifts. I didn’t feel his eyes on me at all and in the dressing room, as we changed into our normal clothes, he changed quickly and walked out.

The next morning in the dressing room, I really wanted to confront him about why he was ignoring me yesterday but was surprised that we were once again alone in the dressing room and Liam was giving me a smile as he leaned against the lockers.

“What?” I questioned while slipping on my elf shoes.

“Fae tells me that you want my number,” he says with a smug tone. I huff at him and mutter a ‘not really’ but he doesn’t believe me. “All you had to do was ask, Blake. You know I’d always say yes to you.”

Pushing away the blush that was threatening to show, I looked up at him with arms folded. “Why did you ignore me yesterday?”

He blinked in surprise before taking a seat beside me on the bench. “I wasn’t ignoring you. I had overslept because I, um, couldn’t stop thinking about… our almost kiss and then once I feel asleep I didn’t want to wake up and I was in a rush to get back to my flat because I was having some guests over for dinner.”

I hadn’t really listened to most of his explanation because my thoughts were stuck on the fact that he was thinking about our almost kiss too and that made heat rise to my cheeks.

“I have something for you,” he says after brushing his thumb over my cheek. He stands up, lifting me up as well before digging something out of his original pants pocket, he was already on his Santa suit all he had missing was the stomach, hat and beard. He turned to me with a smile. “Because of this, no one can ruin the moment.”

He lifts a really cheap, crappy piece of mistletoe but I don’t focus on it long because my gaze meets Liam’s.

“This is part one of your Christmas present,” he whispered before connecting our lips. My eyes fluttered closed at the sensation his lips brought, my hands place on his hips as his both of his hands – I felt him drop the mistletoe as it had landed on my head – were on my neck, thumbs grazing my jaw line.

Holy crap, I’m kissing Liam Payne.

(A/N): felt bad that I had Fae ruin the moment so here you go, some #Lake lip action and yes, it’ll continue onto the next chapter for a bit before it’s the 15th of  December. I hope you liked it because awe, Liam is the cutest thing ever when he’s not being a flirt. And his cheap, crappy mistletoe had gotten him a kiss so yay!
