"Have you been keeping up with your medication recently?" My therapist asked as I sighed raking a hand through my hair nodding, "Yeah but recently I feel like they aren't as effective." I mention fiddling with the end of my sleeve avoiding eye contact as she sighs scribbling something on her clip board before continuing. "I'll up your dosage to three times a day, let me know if you experience any of these symptoms." She says handing me a prescription before holding the door open for me. "See you same time in 4 weeks." She smiles as I give her a nervous grin heading towards the reception, stepping into the luxurious room I spot Chuuya sitting on one of the plush couches. 

Walking over to him I put on my best smile as I approach him getting a reassuring smile from him. "How'd it go?" He asked as I scrunched up the paper in my hand preventing him from ever seeing it. "It was fine she said that I'm doing better." I lie as he stares at me before smiling and heading towards the buildings exit. "Since you're doing better why don't we go out as a reward." He smiles as we walk along the bustling streets of Yokohama towards a familiar cafe, smiling as he holds the door for me we walk towards our usual booth as a friendly waitress approaches us with a smile. "Hi there welcome to the Pop cafe, what can I get for you today?" the waitress asks as I smile. "Can I have a slice of the blueberry cheesecake and some tea please." She smiles scribbling down the order before turning to Chuuya. "I'll have the same thanks." She nods taking our menus before heading towards the kitchen leaving me and Chuuya at the table. "Hey (Y/n) how about we go to Cosmo land after this?" Chuuya asks smiling at me gently as I nod blushing slightly as he laughs grabbing my hand gently as I stare into his piercing blue eyes. "Here are your drinks." A bright voice chirps as I pull my hand away slightly embarrassed as the waitress stands in front of the table with a bright grin holding our drinks on a tray. 

Placing down on the table she leaves quickly picking up the teapot I gently pour two cups before placing one in front of Chuuya earning a gentle thanks as I smile taking a small sip of my tea. "So how has work been recently?" I ask with a smile as Chuuya sighs in annoyance. "Annoying to be frank, the boss has called a cease fire with the detective agency so that asshole Dazai is taking this as the chance to annoy me." He huffs as I giggle slightly remembering the odd brunette man. "I'm sure he just misses you, you two were close before-" I stop short causing Chuuya to look at me with concern grabbing my hand softly. "Hey it's okay, that's in all in the past." He says gently swiping his thumb over the back of my hand comfortingly as I blink back the tears sniffling slightly as I stand up. "I-I'm going to the bathroom." I stutter slightly as he looks at me in concern nodding. "Okay come back soon though." He says softly and I nod with a shaky smile heading towards the bathroom. Shutting the door behind me I let the tears flow slightly as I desperately wipe them away as I try to catch my breath. Sneaking a peak in the mirror I frown seeing my face as I approach the sink turning the tap on letting the water flow, cupping my hands I splash the water onto my face as I steady my breathing. 'I can't lose it, not here not now.' I remind myself internally standing there as I try to even out my breathing. After a few minutes I calm down and begin to fix my appearance, drying my eyes with a towel before placing my hand on the cool door handle. 

Taking a deep breath I glance back at the mirror before opening it and heading back to the table seeing Chuuya speaking to the waitress before handing her the bill and standing up. "Hey are you okay?" He asks concern on his face as I nod smiling slightly. "Yeah, sorry to worry you." I reply curtly and he sighs walking towards the door with me following behind him. "It's fine, do you want to go home for the day?" He asks and I shake my head pushing the door open as he follows behind me silently. Feeling a bit awkward I cough turning to him with a smile as we walk through the city. "Do you want to go to the park and we can go to Cosmo land another day?" He asks calmly turning to me with concern. "Sure although are you certain, we might not get time off for a while." He laughs grabbing my hand pulling me towards the park. "It's fine, we can do whatever you're comfortable with." As we stroll through the park admiring the flowers we sit on a bench together enjoying the calmness of the park, leaning on Chuuya slightly I smile seeing the different flowers around us taking in their delicate scents. Wrapping his arm around me I look up seeing Chuuya blushing slightly as I return the hug. "Hey (Y/n)" Looking up at him I see him smiling at me softly. "You know you can always come to me if you need to talk." I smile hugging him tightly. "I know and I'm so glad that you're there for me." I grin as he laughs ruffling my hair much to my annoyance. "As long as you know that." He says and I blush looking down.
