Drabble: Akutagawa
You who taught me how to love taught me pain soon after
"Why did you have to go?" The dark haired male asks softly a series of coughs following afterwards causing him to clutch the bouquet tighter, crushing the white Lilies in the process. Kneeling down in front of the gravestone wipes the snow off carefully revealing the name inscribed neatly on the stone. '(Y/n) Sakunosuke, beloved sister and daughter, you will be missed.' Laughing bitterly he sits down next to it ignoring the cold seeping into his coat. Even after all this time he can hardly believe that you were just gone, you who believed in him and cared for him no matter what. "Not much has happened since you left." He began slowly unsure of how to start. "Everyone's still a mess after what happened." He continued blinking back the tears fiercely not wanting to remember. "Chuuya spends most of his time alone now." He says feeling a single tear falling down his cheek before rubbing at it harshly. "I still remember the day Mori told us." He said looking down not wanting to face the gravestone in front of him which served as a grim reminder that you left him forever.
"I'm sorry but she didn't make it."
Sobbing heavily he looks up glaring at the stone in front of him, furious at you for making him feel this way and then leaving him all alone. "You're incredibly selfish you know." He laughs brokenly as tears continue to fall landing softly in the snow. "Gin keeps asking what she could have done." He continues remembering the shots of gunfire that day. "I should have ignored your orders." He continues brokenly the memory of that day permanently seared into his mind.
"There's too many of them, Akutagawa take the others and fall back I'll join you shortly."
"You were foolish thinking you could take them yourself." He laughs leaning against the tombstone. "Didn't you think of how it would affect us?" He hisses angrily, wiping his tears away he stands to leave turning back towards the grave one last time. "I hope your happy with you brother (Y/n)." He says turning to leave, standing next to the grave was a young women watching sadly as he walked away leaving her alone again. Smiling bitterly she laughs picking up one of the lilies that lay scattered in front of the tombstone. "I'm sorry Akutagawa." She whispers disappearing allowing the wind to carry her words to the male, turning frantically he searches for her seeing one of the flowers resting neatly on top of the grave. Turning away he walks away wiping a stray tear from his eye heading back towards headquarters.
But I would do it all over just to see you again.
