"Hey (Y/n) how'd it go yesterday, did you guys have fun?" Naomi purrs suggestively catching the attention of some of our classmates. "Shh not so loud okay, nothing like that happened." I stammer trying to hide my blush, Naomi eyes me suspiciously before releasing a loud sigh. "Whatever I knew you'd chicken out." She huffs "So nothing happened then." She eyes me suspiciously lounging back in her chair. Suddenly a loud bang resonates preventing her from questioning me further. "Hey class guess who's back." He groans tiredly picking up a stack of papers. "Atsushi hand these tests out for me." He chucks the stack at the blond who fumbles to catch them. "Anyway class do whatever you want but have your books out in case Mr Kunikida comes in." He sighs lying his head down on his desk. "Whats with him?" I turn to Naomi who smirks at me before someone interjects. "He was up all night drinking with Mr Nakahara and Mr Sakunosuke." Ranpo huffs pulling out a large bag of candy. "Oh course." I murmur pulling out a crisp white envelope from my bag. "Ooh what have you got there." Naomi purrs snatching the letter from me before scanning it excitedly. "Aw does this mean you're finally going to confess." She smirks handing it back to me as the bell rung out loudly. "Oh well have fun then, go for it (Y/n)." She smiles reassuringly as she dragged her brother out the room hastily. I laugh placing the letter safely into my bag deciding to head out as well. 'It'll be fine (Y/n) he already said he likes you.' I reassure myself heading down the corridor towards Edgar's classroom.

Reaching the classroom I peer in searching quickly to Edgar to no avail. "Hey (Y/n) what brings you down here?" A voice asks causing me to jump turning to see John. "H-hey John didn't see you there." I laugh quickly hiding the envelope behind my back. "H-have you seen Edgar though I need to talk to him." I stutter as John raises an eyebrow in confusion. "Yeah I think he went to the library with Louisa." He says brushing past me to go over to Mark and Lucy. "Thanks." I mutter quickly sprinting down to the library. "Hey no running in the hallway." A loud voice barks causing me to slow to a halt turning to see Mr Kunikida glaring at me. "S-sorry Mr Kunikida won't happen again." I pant before marching towards the library. "He went to the library with Louisa." John's words ring through my head causing me to pick up my pace. 'She probably just wanted to talk about classwork, you have nothing to worry about.' A tiny voice says in my head as I approach the library.

Pushing the heavy door open a slight creak resonates around the room however it was strangely empty. Sneaking through the aisles I began to search for Edgar quietly, hearing some whispering I jump hiding behind a bookshelf peering at Edgar who was chatting with Louisa. "S-so w-what did you want to talk to me about Louisa." Edgar stutters as Louisa blushes pulling out a crisp white envelope. "W-well E-Edgar I actually wanted to give you this." she blushes handing him to envelope, suddenly I feel a hot flash of jealousy looking away. Edgar opens the letter with a heavy blush reading it quickly. "I'm sorry Louisa I don't feel the same way about you." He responds without the stutter not meeting her eyes. "B-but why?" She sobs looking down before looking up at him desperately. "I-is it because of that (Y/n) girl?" She asks as Edgar merely nods still not meeting her eyes. "W-what if she doesn't feel the same way about you?" She asks her voice wavering at points as Edgar turns to face her. "I'll accept it then, I don't care as long as I can stay with her." He says unwavering.

I feel myself blush harder holding the letter closer to my chest. Louisa huffs running off leaving Edgar sitting there. "You can come out (Y/n)." He sighs catching me off guard as I come out from behind the shelf. "Y-you knew I was there." I stutter as he smiles at me not meeting my eyes. "Yeah, sorry you had to see that." He laughs still not meeting my eyes. "S-so did you read my letter?" I nod as he smiles at me with tears in his eyes. "I-it's alright if you don't feel the same." He sighs looking down still not meeting my eyes. "I just wanted to tell you my true fee-" I thrust out the letter not meeting his eyes. "Don't just assume my response, at least read my letter." I smile with some tears in my eyes. He takes the letter carefully opening it before reading the letter smiling with some tears in his eyes. "Edgar if that doesn't tell you how much I care for you I don't know what will." I smile blushing heavily. "So do you want to get coffee sometime?" I offer not meeting his eyes as he smiles at me hugging me tightly. "I-I'd love to."

"S-stop there's no need to cry." I stammer as he continues crying waterfalls drawing attention to us. "S-sorry I just can't stop." He sobs as I hug him with a heavy blush. Suddenly a loud flash comes from behind another book case causing me to jump in shock pushing Edgar off me accidentally. "Aw their so cute aren't they brother." A familiar voice hums emerging with a camera in hand smirking at me. "N-Naomi delete that!" I blush trying to snatch the camera missing each time. "Not a chance (Y/n)." She smirks as Tanizaki goes over to Edgar smiling. "S-sorry about that but she really wanted to see if (Y/n) would do it." He laughs awkwardly before Naomi shoves him out of the way harshly. "Just so we're clear Edgar hurt (Y/n) in anyway and you can consider yourself a dead man." She laughs sadistically causing Edgar to jump in fright before nodding anxiously. "O-of course." He stammers as she giggles turning back to me. "Now that that's done you two will really be a cute couple." She hums before sprinting down the hallway still waving the camera. "I-I'll get you back for that Naomi!" I yell chasing after her.
