Hau almost falls out of his bed when several people barge into his hotel room. Mallow was in the lead, grabbing her phone and fumbling with headphones. "Hau, Hau! You will never guess what we just heard!" He raises a brow. "Were you eavesdropping again?" She rolls her eyes. "Irrelevant, just listen to the recording!" She shoves the headphones into his hands and he looks at her. She had never acted like this before. He sighs and places them in his ears and she starts the recording.

"-I was hoping I could send you some pokemon eggs." Kukui spoke. So it was on a call of some sort. "That's fine. Send them over to the Central Pokemon Center in Hammerlocke City. I'll have someone pick them up for me and watch them untilI can get them." "What is their name?" Kukui asked. "Ah, it's Raihan. Nurse Joy should know who he is, he is also going to get something from Sycamore for me." "Another Mega Stone?" "He said I could Mega Evolve Garchomp. I'm still working on our bond, and it will be a bit before we try it, but I am confident." "Anyways, I think you'll like these Pokemon. They might be good for after you become champion." Champion? "Whatever you say, Cuckoo. By the way, how is Hau doing?" Hau almost jumped. Who was this person and how did she know his name? "He is doing great. He is currently on Poni, just challenged Kiawe's totem. We are going around and traveling with the class for this, which is why I am not teaching currently." Why was this teacher just telling people this?! "That's good." Kukui sighed. "You know, you could just call him." Who was this person for his TEACHER to suggest calling him. There was a moment of silence before she spoke up. "He probably hates me, or at least strongly dislikes me. But I wanted him to grow up in his Homeland, with his parents. Not in a city, with a Seventeen Year-old sister who was mentally unstable and barely able to take care of herself. I couldn't do that to him." Hau's eyes widen and begin to water. He listened as Kukui let out a frustrated sigh. "Listen Uila, he misses you. It's the whole reason that he is completing the Island Challenges is so that he can become champion to come and see you." There was a pause. "I don't know Kukui." Her voice cracked. Kukui sighed again before he spoke. "I'm sure Raihan would be happy to be there with you if you called him. Heck, you can call me and I can connect you two. But he misses you so much, and he looks up to you so very much. You are his older sister that practically raised him up until he was 6, while your parents were using your champion money to go on Cruises and host Parties. You kept him away from Guzma, which was definitely a good choice." His parents did that? Maybe that was why he missed her so much.

There was a brief pause before he spoke up again. "I'm not telling you to immediately call him, but I am telling you that you need to talk." there was another pause. "Raihan and I were planning on visiting if I didn't make Champion during the off season, but it is looking more and more likely that I will take that title." Kukui hums. "Then it would be a good learning experience for the class to visit Galar huh?" Hau's eyes widened again. "Don't you start plotting that, you have to get permission from everyone's parents, not to mention Principal Oak." "Oh, don't you worry about that. You just focus on becoming The Champion. I'll bring them over for your Challenger season." Challenger season..? What was that?

"Thanks Kukui. The finals match is in about a month and a half. If you want, you can present it for the class as education, prior to the trip. Even if I don't make champion, I'll be helping Raihan out with his Gym." "Good, I'll get the eggs sent over and start talking this over with Principal Oak." There was a long pause. "Anyway, I am almost to the second mine and almost to my 3rd Gym. I need to go before the call gets disconnected." She is challenging gyms again? "Alright, call me when you receive the eggs.
