Chapter 15

Uila stood proudly next to frogadier as she shook Kabu's hand. 3rd Gym Badge under her belt and 7 weeks until the semi-finals. She started to make her way out of the gym, receiving another copy of a uniform and a new TM that she would never use. She pulled out her phone and sent Raihan a text letting him know she was about to head over to get to Stow-On-Side so that they could get dinner like planned. She stopped in the pokecenter, buying a couple super potions and full restores. She, Frogadier, and Lucario made their way to the entrance of motostoke, wanting to travel through the Wild Area a bit before heading to Hammerlocke.

There, Kabu stops her from leaving, with Nessa and Milo coming to cheer her on. "You can do it, you can do it!" Kabu chanted, causing Uila to laugh. "Thank you for the send off. Now, we have to get to Hammerlocke. Frogadier has a surprise for his father." This leaves the trio stunned as she runs off. "Did she just-" "I think she did Milo."

"Frogadier use water pulse followed by cut! Raboot, use flame charge!" She defeats the Television Crew with ease, gaining a decent wad of cash. She blinks as two beams of light overtake the field. She jumps around happily once the light fades. "You guys evolved! Aw look at you! My babies!" "Ace!" "Ninja, Gre!" "Whatever, you guys are still my babies. Now get together for a picture!" She smiles and hugs the two. "Ah, come one! We need to get to Hammerlocke! Raihan is going to be so impressed with you guys!" "Ace!" Cinderace grabs Lucario and begins running off towards Hammerlocke. "Hey! Cinderace you can't- Gah!" She is cut off when Greninja grabs her and starts running after Cinderace. When they arrive at the stairs to Hammerlocke, she is set down, and she stumbles a bit. "Next time, give a girl a warning will ya?" "Nin!" She sighs. "Come on, we have a Dragon Tamer to see." They make their way through the city, and Uila shoots Raihan a text saying that they were heading to the house to Relax and that if he wanted to meet them there that would be great.

Uila flops onto the bed, with Lucario, Cinderace, and Greninja all joining her. "Guys, there isn't enough room!" Cinderace sticks out his tongue before shoving her off the bed. "Fine then, be that way." She grabs her bag and makes her way to the living room, laying on the couch and promptly falling asleep.

When she woke up, it was to the front door opening. She sits up and rubs her eyes. "Raihan?" He nods. "Good nap?" She yawns and nods. "Those pokemon of mine kicked me out of the bed." He chuckles. "The eggs and Mega Stone are good, they are sitting in my bedroom, I'll go ahead and get them." She nods. "But first, I wanted to show you something." He raises a brow as she takes something out of her bag. He unwraps it to find a painting of him, Lucario, and Froakie from right after he hatched, along with the photo. Before he could speak she held up a finger. "One more thing." She led the way to the room and opened the door, showing Greninja, Cinderace, and Lucario sleeping peacefully. Raihan's eyes widened. "Both of them evolved on the way here, probably trying to compete on who could evolve first."

She turns to Raihan. "So when is dinner?" Raihan checks his watch. "Reserved for 45 minutes from now." Uila sweat drops. "Is it casual?" He nods in reply. "That's a relief." Uila yawns. "I'll go grab that stuff for you." "Thanks for grabbing it by the way, I appreciate it." He exits the room with a bag and a basket, the basket holding two eggs. Uila grabs 2 cases out of her bag and places the eggs into them.

She stretches before yawning again, causing Raihan to chuckle. "You tired?" She looks at him. "I've only slept in a hotel once over the past 8 days and I forgot my cot. The Cinderace almost burned the camp down. What do you think?" He laughs. "You can sleep in my room, the couch isn't the most comfortable of places." She tiredly agrees. "I'll wake you up in Half-an-hour. Go get some sleep." She nods and gets under Raihan's black covers, passing out almost instantly.
