*Extremely long chapter ahead*
Uila spent another full day in Stow-On-Side, enjoying the bizarre mural and did some training at Bea's dojo. She was sitting outside a little cafe, just about packed up to leave when she heard a loud boom coming from the mural. She jumps up and grabs her stuff, Lucario already by her side as they run to the top.
There they encounter a pale-haired boy ordering a Copperjah to destroy the mural, screaming about how there were wishing stars behind it. "Hey! What do you think you are doing!" She yells out before she could stop herself. "I'm collecting wishing stars for the chairman, do not interfere." She grows angry. "No, I am going to interfere! This is part of this town's history! You cannot just wreck it!" "Without wrecking it, the next 1,000 years will be at stake." "I highly doubt that." He huffs. "If you insist on stopping me, I'll have to beat you to make you stop." Uila looks down at her partner. "You ready Lucario?" "Lucar!"
He sends out a Solosis. "Use Bone Rush followed by Aura Sphere!" That takes the division pokemon down even with a type disadvantage. Uila then proceeds to completely wreck the trainers team. She snarls at him. "What were you saying about beating me? Now stop this before the damage goes too far!" He rolls his eyes but tenses as someone shouts. "Bede, what are you doing?!" "Chairman? I was collecting Wishing Stars just like you asked." "But I didn't ask you to destroy a piece of Galar's history. I hate to do this but I am revoking your endorsement in the gym challenge. I am very disappointed in you." The boy, now dubbed as Bede, ran off, and the chairman turned to Uila. "I am sorry for his actions and the fact that you had to step up to stop him. We must remain fair in this challenge and this was not alright."
She nods. "It was good to see you, but unfortunately duty calls." He says, Oleana nodding. "It was good to see you as well chairman. Safe travels." He turns around and walks off. I give Lucario a pokepuff and notice Sonia running up. "Uila! Are you alright?" Uila nods. "A challenger was attempting to smash the mural." She informed, causing Sonia's eyebrows to furrow, looking over towards the mural. "At least it doesn't look too damaged..." As if on cue, the mural crumbles. When the dust clears, Sonia gasps. "Look at that Uila!" Uila looks to where she is pointing. "There are two pokemon, which contradicts what the statue said in the Budew Drop Inn Lobby!" Uila sweat drops. "Those two are connected...?"
Sonia takes a moment before realisation strikes her. "You weren't there when I explained it to the trio. The history of Galar states that during an event called 'The Darkest Day' a hero bearing a Sword and Shield stopped the event." Uila pauses. "Then why are there two Pokemon?" Sonia brightens. "Now that is the Million-PokeDollar Question." Uila takes a look at the statues, looking past the figures, noting an empty pedestal. She thinks about pointing it out but decides not to, it probably wasn't important. She talks with Sonia a bit before deciding she needed to head out.
She waves goodbye to Sonia before she and Lucario run off towards the woods. Almost instantly Uila's eyes went wide at the sight of the glowing mushrooms. This place felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. She smiled and ran deeper into the forest, Lucario running behind her. They make their way through the forest, defeating trainers and catching a few new Fairy-Types, including a goblin-looking one called an Impidimp. They make it to the small town and Uila settles down, about to talk with Lucario. "I think you would be bst suited for this battle with your Steel-Type Moves."
He nods and she lets out Manectric. "Hey buddy! How have you been?" he barks happily. "That's good. I want you and Boltund to watch the eggs this time. I have a feeling this will be a long gym challenge." "Mane!" "I knew you would be up to it! Awe look at you!" she scratches Manectric, causing him to flop to the floor happily. "My best buddy, other than you Lucario." She giggles as she receives a long lick across the face. "Now, you and Boltund play nice until we get back. Don't let anyone touch my bags." "Mane! Ectric mane mane!" She releases Boltund and they make their way into the gym. She leads them to a corner, pulling out her gym clothes and leaving them to guard the bag. She returns him and walks up to the counter, registering to challenge and heading to change, pulling Lucario into his pokeball.
