Uila tugs the bag on her shoulders, adjusting the smaller bag. She smiles, adjusting the Z-band on her wrist and the ring on her finger. She enters the living room, noticin Raihan looking curiously at the Pokepuffs. "It's a way of paying you back. I made you a batch to give your pokemon after gym battles. Heals them right up, and strengthens your bond." He nods and smiles. "Thank you, I appreciate it." He packs his stuff into his bag, pulling it over his shoulder. Uila checks her watch, 11:38. "You ready to go?" Uila nods, and Raihan pulls out a pokeball. "We can walk or fly, which would you rather do?" She turns to Lucario, who nods. "We can fly." He grins and lets his Flygon out. "You good to carry us over to Motostoke?" He rubs the sides of it head and it happily cooes. "Alright then, hop on." He slides onto Flygons back, and he offers a hand to help Uila and Lucario up. She takes off her bag and climbs up, placing Lucario and her bag to her front. "Alright flygon, let's get to Motostoke."
Uila fell back into Raihan's chest as Flygon took to the skies, but once it was steady, neither bothered to move. For Uila, Raihan was warm, and his jacket was soft. For Raihan, he liked the feeling of her against his chest. Not that either of the two would admit it. They sit in a comfortable silence, with nothing but the view below them and each other to pass the time. After a few minutes, Flygon begins to descend, causing Uila, once again to lean into Raihan. Both of them were a red mess at that point. When Flygon lands, Raihan thanks it before returning it. Uila slides her backpack on and climbs up the stairs to Motostoke.
Once inside, her eyes light up at the feel of the city. "Wow..." Raihan chuckles beside her. "I know, takes your breath away huh?" She laughs. "It sure does. Now, where do I get registered?" "That would be in the Motostoke stadium. I'll show you the way since I need to get checked in." "Thanks."
"Oh, and there are multiple Pokemon Centers scattered throughout the city, so I'm sure you'll be able to find one easily." Raihan says, guiding Uila and Lucario onto the lift. Uila almost falls over at the sheer force and speed of the lift. One look told her Lucario almost fell as well. Raihan chuckles. "That lift takes a bit to get used to. Now come on, you have to get registered. Meet me out here once you are done, and we can go get some lunch. She nods and smiles. "Will do. Go get checked in, I'll be fine." He rolls his eyes and gives a mock bow. "Yes my queen." She laughs and flicks his forehead. "Alright dork, go get registered. I want food." He laughs and walks away, heading into a nearby building.
Uila smiles and enters the stadium, looking at the competition, who were DEFINITELY much younger than she was. She wasn't even that old. At least, she doesn't think 24 is old. She shakes her head and walks up to the counter. The man looks at her. "Ma'am, aren't you a little too old to be competing." "Uila Naga." She slides her endorsement over. He pales. "R-right, I'm sorry, I didn't realize."
"Pokemon battles should be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age, don't you think? Just because teens are the majority of those who are competing, it doesn't mean that they are the only ones allowed to compete." Lucario nods, huffing annoyed. "R-right. What number would you like on your uniform?" "06." "Right, and my apologies about earlier. You have a room reserved at the Budew Drop Inn for tonight." He pulls out a set of clothes. "This is the uniform needed for any official match. I wish you the best of luck." She nods, turning around and walking past a pale-haired boy in a pink coat and a group of three trainers.
She waits outside patiently for Raihan to come, playing on her phone impassively. "Hey, miss!" Her attention is brought to the group of three from before. The purple-haired boy speaks up. "That was really awesome what you said there! When I become champion, I'll be sure to encourage people of every age and race to join the gym challenge!" She saw a familiar spark in his eyes. "You wouldn't happen to be Leon's brother would you?" He looks at her shocked. "How did you know?" She smiles. "I see a familiar spark in your eyes as there is in his. Hop right?" she turns to the others. "And you must be Gloria and Victor, right? I've heard good things about you from Raihan." A sprinting figure catches her attention. "Speak of the devil. Anyway, good luck guys, see you tomorrow!"
She and Lucario ran towards Raihan, who was trying to catch his breath. "Good run?" He rolls his eyes. "Oh hush." She laughs and helps him up. "Alright, where to for lunch, I'm starving."
