"I still find it hard to believe that you're actually here," Samuel said. He was perched on the edge of Taehyung's desk, serving looks in his flashy new suit and showing off the Rolex that shone on his wrist.
Taehyung signed the document which he held in his hands and placed it onto the growing pile of signed documents standing on his desk beside which Samuel was sitting. He was wearing a similar suit but of a grey colour, and his hair was styled to the side instead of upwards like Samuel's was.
"Well I am here, so you better believe it," He responded, reaching for another document and beginning to scan through it.
"I wonder," Samuel spoke his thoughts out loud, "How did Miss Vera agree to let you go? She was so adamant on having you rest for at least a week, and then suddenly you're allowed to go to work today ... "
Taehyung didn't answer, signing the document in his hands and putting it on top of the pile before reaching for another one.
Samuel's eyes widened and he gasped. "You didn't," He whispered, his lips curling into a smirk. "You snuck out?!"
"Oh for god's sake, Sam," Taehyung rolled his eyes, "I'm not a teenage boy. I didn't sneak out." He was quiet for a moment before he quietly added, "I just ... you know ... calmly and quietly left the premises before she woke up, is all."
"You snuck out," Samuel confirmed with a laugh, his eyes crinkling and a wide grin settling on his face.
Taehyung rolled his eyes again and grumbled under his breath, but whatever it was that he said wasn't loud enough for his younger brother to hear.
"Wow," Samuel shook his head lightly, still grinning, "I can't believe you. You're being a bad boy now, huh? I wonder why ... " His grin turned into a smirk as he lowered his voice and leant closer to Taehyung. "Is she going to give you some hot, kinky punishment later for this?"
"Yah!" Taehyung yelled, grabbing the nearest folder and smacking Samuel over the head with it. "For the last time, we are not in that kind of relationship. And even if we were, there is no way in hell that I would be the submissive one."
Samuel rubbed his head, trying to ease the pain. "Whatever you say, brother, whatever you say," He said, his tone of voice telling Taehyung that he clearly didn't believe him. Samuel dodged another attack from his brother and jumped off of the table, moving to stand at what he found to be a safe distance away from Taehyung's table. "Jokes aside," He said, "Why are you actually here? Shouldn't you be at another photoshoot this morning?"
"I cancelled it," Taehyung responded as he finished signing documents and proceeded to log onto his computer. "Things over here have become hectic ever since the police began investigating the company so I decided to take some time off of modelling and acting to help you out. When everything quietens down, I'll go back to what I was doing before."
"Awh," Samuel cooed, placing his hands over his heart, "You're so sweet. You're not my brother—you're actually my guardian angel, aren't you?"
"Shut up before I hit you again."
Raising his hands in the air, Samuel imitated the gesture of surrender while chuckling. He always found it so easy to push his brother's buttons and Taehyung's reactions always amused him. Annoying Taehyung was Samuel's favourite form of entertainment.
"Are you going to stand there all day like that?" Taehyung questioned before gesturing to the pile of signed documents on his desk. "I've looked through these and signed the ones that I thought were okay. The contracts that aren't signed are ones I personally don't recommend going any further with. Have a look through them and sign the ones you agree with. Any that our opinions differ on, send them back to me."
