"Farren, Hello?" Farren turned to see her friend  Lana behind her, "Oh, hey Lana." she replied, Lana frowned "Is it me or are you distracted today?" she asked, Farren sighed, she felt as if her heart would explode the more she thought about Zak.

"Are you alright?" Lana asked, Farren nodded distantly, Lana shook her head "your distracted, what is it?" Farren couldn't help but smile as she told her everything.

"seriously?" Clark squealed as they sat at the lunch table, Farren nodded, "You actually hugged him?" she asked and Farren grinned and nodded "How was it?" Lana and Clark asked at the same time, Farren tilted her head and smiled, "Heavenly" she replied and the two girls in front of her squealed "Oh I also forgot to tell you, I gave him my number, don't know if he will..." she was cut off by her phone going off.

Farren took her phone out of her backpack and looked at it, she gasped, she had a notification showing a number she didn't recognize

Hello this is Zak, I just wanted to check up on you to see how you're holding up.

Farren smiled and began typing back, Hi Zak, I'm fine, how are you? Are you doing ok?  She sent it and put it back in her bag, "was that him?" Lana asked wide eyed, "yup" she replied nodding.

Both Lana and Clark Gasped "you can't go around telling people, Melissa is obsessed with him and would freak." Lana said excitedly, Farren grunted "I know, but it really isn't her business." Clark sighed "Do you really think she cares?" Lana nodded in agreement and Farren rolled her eyes, "I know she doesn't but still, she'd be pissed if I got I got all up in her business."

they sat in silence as they finished their food and they got up to dump the trays, as they did they passed Melissa who had a picture of a shirtless zak on her phone, swooning over him,Farren rolled her eyes and continued walking until she got to the library.

The lunch bell finally rang, Farren got up and started to look around for her bag, "Farren, let's go, I don't want to be late." Clark said popping up next to her, Farren jumped and twisted to look at her friend, she scowled "Don't do that, and I think I left my backpack in the lunchroom." Farren sighed and she began to walk to the lunchroom to grab her bag.

"Farren we don't have time, Just grab it after school or something." Clark said, "I'm aware of the time." Farren acknowledged "Go to class if you're so worried about it." Farren replied rolling her eyes as she started walking again, Clark trailed behind as they finally reached the lunchroom.

They arrived at the table where Farren and her friends had been sitting but there was one problem, her backpack was gone, she looked all around, under the table, she looked around the table that had been behind them, no luck.

Farren sighed "It's not here." she growled, Clark nodded "I know, its over there." she said pointing, Farren followed her finger to see Melissa and her buddies had her stuff, Melissa had Farrens phone and seemed to be trying to unlock it, Farren sighed and started to head over but Clark stopped her, "Let's go find a teacher, otherwise trouble will brew."

Farren yanked her arm out of her friends grasp, "you can go get a teacher, I'm going to try to get my shit back." Farren growled and stomped over to Melissa.

"Give me my shit back" Farren growled as she reached her target, Melissa turned around, "No" Farren glared at her in anger, "Give me my stuff, I have a class to get to." Melissa smirked and folded her arms "Give her the backpack." she snapped at her lankeys, they handed Farren her backpack but Melissa kept her phone, "Melissa give it."

"Is there a problem?" Farren whipped around, one of the lunch ladies had came over, "No nothing's wrong." Melissa said sweetly, Farren rolled her eyes, "don't lie, now give me my goddamn phone!" Farren Demanded, Melissa glared, "Now girls, no fighting, Melissa give her the phone back." the lunch lady said, Melissa sighed in annoyance and threw the phone at her, Farren caught it and turned and left.

By the end of the day all Farren wanted to do was sleep, she took a quick shower, got out and got into some Pj's, she checked her phone for any notifications, she had been texting Zak all day, she sighed. no new texts, he must be busy, she sent him a quick good night text and went to bed.
