Farren was scared awake by her alarm going off, she sat up gasping as her heart raced, she sighed in annoyance and shut her alarm off, she checked her phone, It was Six. Zak would be picking her up in like two hours.

Farren walked into the kitchen still in the clothes she had been wearing yesterday, she got a bowl then thought, she didn't know if Zak was going to take her to breakfast so she just grabbed a yogurt and a spoon and started to eat it.

Her brother came down dressed for school, "Farren can you drive me today? My car is still at the shop." he asked and Farren nodded, setting the spoon in the sink and throwing the yogurt container away. Farren went upstairs and got shoes on and brushed her hair, she went back downstairs grabbing her keys from her nightstand as she did.

"Are you not going to school today?" William asked and Farren shook her head, "No, I've got other plans today." she replied, William looked at her, "Got yourself a boyfriend?" He asked and Farren shook her head "Do you have a girlfriend?" Farren retorted, and William Smiled "Actually I do" he replied and Farren whipped around and glared at him.

"Who?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at him, He smiled "Melissa." He replied with a smirk, Farren growled and Unlocked her car and got in slamming her door shut. William got in "What's her last name?" Farren asked tightly, He glanced at her "Judging by your reaction I don't think I should tell you." He responded and she glared at him and he pressed his lips together.

"Is she Melissa Lewry?" Farren asked and William Nodded, Farren gripped the steering wheel so tight her knuckles turned white. "Is there a problem with that?" William asked, Farren didn't respond, just stayed quiet as she dropped him off.

Farren Pulled back into the garage and went inside, she walked quietly back to her room and she went through her closet trying to find nice clothes to wear. No luck, she sighed and got in the shower.

Farren got out and wrapped a towel around herself and she stepped out of the tub and walked to her room. When she opened her bedroom door she was greeted by her two friends.

"What are you guys doing here?" Farren asked in confusion, Lana grinned "We're here to get you all dressed up and ready." She replied Happily, "Clark, you told her?" Farren asked, She glanced at her friend, "Uhh ya was I not supposed to?" her friend asked sheepishly, Farren shook her head, "It's not that I just don't want this to be common knowledge." Clark nodded "We won't tell a soul. Right Lana?" Clark said shooting a look at Lana who nodded "Ya, we won't"

                                                 *                                       *                                     *

Two hours later Farren was ready. Her two friends had her dress in a midnight blue dress that reached to her knees, they had put a necklace that was raindrop shaped and had a midnight blue stone on it. Her hair had been curled and done, she had on light makeup blue eyeshadow and mascara with a clear lip gloss.

"There." Clark said and stepped back admiring their work. "Beautiful." Lana gushed, Farren smiled and gave them a hug, "Thank you." she whispered, They hugged her back "No problem, now get going He'll be here soon and We've got to get to class." Clark replied and Farren nodded "Alright get going." and they did.

An hour later a knock sounded at the door and Farren's mother went to answer it. She came back a minute later, "Farren, He's waiting for you outside." Farren got up from the table and straightened her dress out, "How do I look?" She asked her mother who smiled "You look beautiful, I wish I still had a young face like yours." her mother sighed and Farren hugged her, "Your still young mom, you need to find someone who will tell you that everyday." her mother hugged her tighter. "Thanks darling, I think I'll go out today." Farren nodded and rushed out the door.

"Did you have breakfast?" Zak asked as he pulled out of Farren's parking lot, Farren shook her head, "No, not yet." she replied, "You in the mood for some pancakes?" He asked and she laughed "I'm always in the mood for Pancakes." she replied smiling, he grinned "Good because we're going to go eat first." and she nodded in agreement. She was starving.

They arrived at a small bakery outside of town half an hour later, Zak got out as Farren got unbuckled As Zak opened the door to her side, she swung her legs out and stood up and walked towards the sidewalk, Zak closed the door and locked his car and they went inside.

They walked over to a counter and the lady behind it gave them a friendly greeting and she led them to a booth in the corner of the Bakery and they sat down. "We'll get someone for you, Hope you enjoy." and she turned and left.

"So pancakes?" Zak asked across from her and she grinned and nodded "Sounds good." she replied and he laughed, a waiter finally came over, "Do you know what you want?" she asked them and Zak nodded, "two plates of pancakes and a Pepsi for me, Farren what would you like to drink?" Zak asked, turning to her, she looked at the drink section, "Just some orange Juice if that's alright." she replied and the waitress nodded and hustled off to put in their order.

"Well how are you?" Zak asked her, she dragged her gaze back to Zak "I'm doing ok, what about you?" she asked and he leaned back and closed his eyes, "I'm doing ok." he replied, it went silent again and Farren looked him over, his hair was styled as it always was, he wore a fitting black shirt with GAC printed on his chest.

Someone walked in and she turned her gaze to the doors, It was Melissa and her brother. She glared at him and he paled at seeing her there, Melissa said something to him and he nodded and looked away, "I've gotta go to the bathroom." She said to Zak and he nodded and she got up and grabbed Williams wrist as she walked by and dragged him to the bathrooms.

"What are you doing here?" Farren hissed at him, he blinked at her "Melissa wanted to skip so I came with her." He replied, She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, "Mom will be pissed if she finds out." Farren growled, "Then you won't tell her will you." Melissa said from behind William who turned to face her, Farren snorted " I'll let this one pass but you skip again I won't keep it a secret" she sighed, William sighed and nodded, "You aren't his boss." Melissa snapped, Farren turned and glared, "You're not getting my brother in trouble." Farren snapped and walked back to her table.

She sat back down as the waiter brought their food and drinks out, She Set the tray on the counter and gave them the plates of food and the drinks then she left and they began eating.
