Chapter 18 (Farren

  Beep Beep Beep. Farren reached over and shut off her alarm and she rolled out of bed, she yawned as she went to the bathroom and took a shower. Today was her first day at a new school and she was not looking forward to it.

 "Morning William." Farren greeted her brother, "Morning." he replied, he was sitting on the massive couch in the living room, "School in like thirty minutes, you excited?" he asked, she sighed and sat down heavily next to him, "No not really, I love it here so far but not school." William chuckled, "Oh, come on It'll be great!" he said enthusiastically and she sighed "Fiiiine" she growled, he smiled, Farren got up as Zak walked in. "Ready for school?" He asked, stopping next to the door frame leading into the living room, Farren shook her head, "Nope" she replied and walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Well here we are." Zak said as he pulled into the schools parking lot, Farren sighed and got out of the car, she frowned as she watched as students were walking into the school, she felt a pang of despair, she wanted to see her friends again, William got out and walked over next to her, "You coming?" He asked, she nodded and walked around to Zak who had gotten out of the car, she sighed as he hugged her, trapping her arms so she couldn't hug back, she closed her eyes and soaked in his warmth.

Ten minutes later Farren walked into the school with her brother, She shivered as she felt eyes swivel to look at her, she subconsciously stepped closer to her brother who chuckled, she noticed how girls kept looking at william and smiling, "Looks like you'll have fun." Farren said dryly, he twisted to see what she was talking about, a group of girls were staring at him and giggling, they quickly looked away as soon as he turned, he snorted "Awesome, I so can't wait." he said sarcastically, "You still with Melissa?" Farren asked, he shook his head, "No." Farren frowned "What happened?" she asked, "Doesn't matter." he said quietly, she didn't say anything as they walked into the office.

 "What class do you have?" William asked as they were walking, the bell had just rang and everyone seemed to be going to class, "Art" she replied looking at her paper, he nodded, "what about you?" she asked him, "Math" he replied bitterly. She laughed and he glared at her.

"Welcome." The teacher said as Farren walked into the art classroom, She smiled "Hello" she squeaked, "Everyone say hi to the new student" The teacher called out, she got a chorus of hello's as she sat down at a table full of girls.

"Who might you be?" the girl across from her asked, she seemed like the snooty type, Farren glanced at her but otherwise ignored her, "Hello, I'm talking to you!" the girl snapped, she continued to ignore her, they were drawing their favorite celebrity as an assignment. She heard a sigh, "I said Who are you, what's your name." the girl growled and Farren looked up, the three girls were all glaring at her, "My name isn't your business." Farren snapped back and she went back to drawing.

About an hour later they were told to put the the finished product in the center of the table, she looked at her drawing, her picture of Zak looked almost like him except she needed to work on his hair a bit more, she sighed and set it down, Farren noticed that the three girls also drew him, she glanced at them, out of all of them Farren looked more like him than the others.

"Copycat." The girl across from her hissed, Farren raised an eyebrow, "At least I can draw him correctly." She said in amusement, the girl's brown eyes darkened, "you talk to me like that again and there will be consequences" she growled out, Farren laughed "Oh, I'm so scared that I can't walk." She said sarcastically, that did it. The bully stood up, drew her hand back, but Farren was smarter, she got up and as the hand came towards her she ducked and rolled away.

The girls hand hit the person Farren had been sitting next to and she screamed, the teacher walked over, "Is there a problem?" he asked, the girl who got smacked was holding her face, "She hit me!" she said pointing to the bully, "Amanda what do you have to say for yourself." the teacher scolded, Amanda glared at Farren, "Sorry Mr. Liam" she replied icily, "Principal's office now." he growled, "But I wasn't meaning to hit her!" Amanda protested, Farren rolled her eyes as the bell rang and she left.

The next few classes passed by without incident, it seemed she only had Amanda for one class. The bell for lunch finally rang and Farren got up and left. She started walking to the lunch room but stopped when she saw her brother, he was pressed against the wall, Amanda leaning against him.

Farren walked over "excuse me what are you doing." She snapped, Amanda jumped and twirled around, "Is it any of your business?" She asked Glaring at Farren, "Being he's my brother yes it is." she snapped, shock flitted on her face, "Brother?" She asked, Farren snorted "Yes, you have a problem with that?" she asked, folding her arms, Amanda glared at her and left.

"Farren!" William hissed at her, "What" she snapped, "Why did you chase her off!" he growled, Farren sighed "I refuse to let you date her or anything, she'll just use you and you know it." Farren replied, William sighed and shook his head, "Every girl I date or talk to you either hate her or won't let me date them! This is my life not yours stop trying to control me." and he left.

"Hey." Farren looked up, a girl was standing across from her, "Hey." Farren answered as she picked at her food, "I'm Amelia" the girl said sitting down, Farren looked at her, she was very pretty, she had emerald green eyes and blonde hair.

Farren smiled "I'm Farren." she replied, Amelia smiled "So you're new here." and Farren nodded "Yeah." and soon lunch was over and they had to go back to class.
