"Zak?" Someone called through his door, he had gone to his room after he had come back from Farren's room, he groaned "Door's open" he called and Thaila walked in, "umm have you seen Farren?" she asked, Zak frowned "Is she not in her room?" He asked, Farren's mother shook her head, "No, I tried to call her as well but she isn't picking up." Zak sighed and reached over for his phone on his night stand, "I'll try to call her, if not I'll go look for her." Thaila nodded and left, shutting the door behind her.
It went straight to voicemail. Zak scowled, she normally wouldn't ignore his calls. Zak sent her a quick text then he went downstairs, "I'll be back!" Zak called out to Thaila, "Alright" she called back and he left.
After an hour of looking, Zak pulled into a little Cafe not too far away from his house, he sighed as he got out and walked in, to his surprise Farren was there. She was sitting alone in a booth writing on something, he walked over to her, "Farren?" He asked and she jumped a little, "Oh God damn it." She half yelled between clenched teeth, "Oh shit sorry." he said, "It's alright." she replied and continued writing.
"Zak?" Zak looked up, it was his Ex Arya. "What do you want?" He asked tightly, Farren looked up and her eyes flicked between him and Arya, "I didn't expect to see you here." she said with a smile, she looked at Farren who was glaring at her, "Who might you be?" Arya asked, laying her hand on Zak's shoulder, he shrugged her hand off and got up. "Arya you need to leave us alone." he growled, Farren was too tense and he didn't like it.
"Oh, Honey boo.." Arya began but Farren cut her off, "What the hell do you want?" She snapped, Arya smiled "To talk to Zak of course." She said sweetly "Now if you could just leave that would be nice, oh and buy me a drink?" Farren stood up, "Number 1" She said slowly, "Buy yourself a drink, number two, I'm not going anywhere." Zak walked over to her, "Let's go." He whispered in her ear as he grabbed her arm, "Give me a minute, I need to turn this in." She replied and she walked to the counter and turned in the paper.
"So darling who is that?" Arya asked as Farren stood talking to someone, "Who she is isn't your business." he snapped "And don't call me that." she sighed "Now now no need to get all grumpy." She tsked, Zak clenched his teeth together, "Arya just go." he said glaring and she smiled at him and walked off.
"So this is where you ran off to." Zak said as they got into the car, Farren nodded, he frowned, she seemed sad. Really sad. "Is something wrong?" He asked her. She shook her head "No." and she reached out for his hand, he put his hand in hers and melded their fingers together, "Are you sure? You seem upset." she looked at him, her eyes filled with tears, "My brother hates me, I heard him talking to Amanda and he admitted he never liked me." she whispered, his heart froze, knowing Farren he knew she loved her brother, he didn't say anything, he was too angry too.
Soon they were back at Zak's house, They walked in, William was sitting on the couch with Amanda watching Tv. Zak walked over, "You." he said coldly to Amanda, "Get out. Now." He growled, Farren walked over to him, "Zak, you don't have to kick her out." she said laying her hand on his arm, He ground his teeth together, "Out." He growled and he turned to William "Be lucky I don't kick you out too." and he turned and walked to his room.
