It has been a week since Sierra was brought to Xander's place. Allan used to visit her two times a day to check how she was doing. It was detected that she was still facing some of the after effects of the sedation; after all she was heavily sedated by Mason. Apart from feeling drowsy and a constant headache, Sierra was also facing issues with her blood pressure. Allan had noted that she had low blood pressure but also reassured everyone that such things were expected as the 'after effects' and that she would be fine in a few days. Allan's medication and her own immune system ensured that she recovered in 2 days. Indeed she was feeling much better.
But there was one problem though.
XANDER!!
Even though Allan had informed Xander, that Sierra was feeling better and is free to move around; Xander, as expected, was not convinced. He was highly protective about Sierra. Even Jeremy was surprised at his actions. Being a father, Jeremy was definitely concerned about his daughter's health but at some point even he felt that Sierra was fine and they both could return back to their house. But Xander simply neglected anyone's and everyone's suggestions or advices as far as Sierra was concerned. He was not ready to take any more risks.
But somewhere in his heart he could feel that he was wrong and he could not do anything about it. He could also see a lot of improvement in Sierra but for some reason he was worried about her. Every time he felt bad or guilty about this entire situation, he would choose to ignore it by thinking that he was protecting her. He could of course understand what she must be going through, but somewhere even he knew that he was being absolutely silly. Not only Sierra brought out the best and worst in him but also his childishness and silliness which he had hidden somewhere long; very long back.
Xander felt a connection with Sierra the instant he saw her for the first time. He never thought that he would feel the same way for someone, as he felt for his family. But who was he kidding? He definitely had plans to make her his family one day. It is just that he was waiting for the right time. He has not even met her till now. He had no idea what would be her reaction when she meets him or when she comes to know about him and his works. Knowing about her she might actually run away from him in fear and would never come back. He knew he had to make her feel safe and happy with him. He just didn't know what to do and how to do.
Xander is a man with clear ideas and mind. He never felt like he was stuck at some point in his life. He was someone who got things done with a swap of his fingers without any chaos. He never felt so caught up. Let that be in situations with his family, friends, and work; and not to forget his 'enemies'. But with Sierra he was completely blank. He saw her like a glass doll; a pretty glass doll; his doll. He just knew that he cannot live without her and he would like her to be his better half. He was surprised that for the first time in life, he was thinking about someone other than himself or his family. And for a strange reason he liked it; he liked it all.
He knew that being in a new place in her condition, it was very essential that she gets to see Jeremy every now and then. So, he ensured that Jeremy was always there with her and let the father-daughter duo enjoy their dinners and movie times just like they always did, so that she would feel at home. He also took Jeremy's tender into consideration not only for Sierra, but he genuinely liked Jeremy's tender, his work methods and approaches. He also kept sending a few books according to Sierra's liking, either through Jeremy or through Rosaline.
When Jeremy was not available he made sure that Rosaline was always there. He ensured that Rosaline was always present for her and talk to her. He also sent flowers for Sierra everyday without fail. No wonder that just in a week, Sierra's room was converted into a beautiful flower garden. He didn't have to choose flowers, just one thought about Sierra and he automatically got the apt flowers for her. Along with the flowers, he would also send a card everyday; sometimes praising her beauty and sometimes stating how good a person she is. It just made him so happy to write those little love notes to her just like some teenage boy.
Rosaline would always make Sierra's breakfast and once it was checked by him and graded how healthy it was, she was allowed to take it to her. Rosaline would leave the kitchen not before giving him an 'I know you Xander' look to which he simply rolled his eyes. It has become their daily routine. He could sense the growing friendship between Sierra and Rosaline. For some strange reason these two girls clicked immediately and upon Sierra's insistence, Rosaline agreed to eat her breakfast and lunch with Sierra. He also found them watching a few horror and romance films with lots and lots of snacks all around them. Someone who didn't know these girls would definitely mistake them to be sisters. He was definitely surprised at their growing bond but was happy to see that Sierra didn't feel alone.

P.S.: Rosaline Hilton
Rosaline didn't want to eavesdrop on the conversation between Xander and Jeremy, but she could not help herself knowing it was about Sierra. Just one look at Sierra and she felt a connection with her. She wanted to be friends with Sierra and when Xander had personally asked her to always be there with Sierra, she was genuinely happy. She was not a dumb girl. She could easily figure out what was going on in Xander's mind and his heart too.
But knowing Sierra for a week, she understood that this was not an easy task. Sierra was a great friend and a great human no doubt, but her inquisitive nature was a whole new different story. It often made Rosaline to take two steps back when Sierra would start questioning about Xander. Sierra would never take NO for an answer and that's one of the things she learnt about Sierra in these few days.
Upon constant bugging from Sierra, Rosaline had to give her an idea of what was going on and who Mr. Knight was! But she knew that if Xander came to know about it, she would be in deep trouble. Knowing Xander since her childhood, she very well knew how he was and what his preferences were. He never had brought any girl with him, and letting them stay in his house was definitely out of question. She definitely had a clue that Xander would prefer to introduce himself to Sierra on his own and is waiting for the right time.
But knowing how Sierra is, she would probably grill her if she does not tell her anything about Mr. Knight. So, Rosaline had to very cleverly drop in the hints about 'him' and why she was here. And the way, Xander kept sending flowers for Sierra through her was not at all helping. It often made her think how would Xander's face look after she had thrown a few punches at him for putting her in such an eerie situation.
