"Sierra, please pass me the butter honey."

"Here you go!"

"Xander? Could you please pass me the jam?" Sierra asked Xander who had a smug look on his face. He appeared a bit lost somewhere. He was not involving in the conversations. And to grab his attention and hoping that he would see her, she simply asked for the jam bottle which was near him. Not even verifying if she really needs it or not she simply asked for it.

"Are you sure you want Jam honey? I don't think Eggs and Jam go hand in hand." Cynthia tried to hint her but the only thing Sierra wanted was Xander's attention.

"Yes, Jam will go so amazing with bread." Sierra replied not paying any attention to the hidden meaning in Cynthia's words.

"But Sierra, I think you are having Omelette. Isn't it?" Ian pointed out making Alexander chuckle a little. Everyone at the table knew what this girl was doing except the mighty king who was still lost in his thoughts. Sierra looked at Ian and then at her plate. She smiled at all of them sheepishly. She chided at herself for making fun of her own self in front of everyone. She ignored it and said "Oh! Yeah! Yes, Jam doesn't go so well with it."

"Try these peppers. They go well with it." Cynthia said passing her the peppers tray smiling at her to which Sierra replied in a slow tone "Thanks!"

"Guess what honey, I have this huge fascination towards trying out different recipes and tastes. How about I cook something for you?" Cynthia asked trying to make Sierra comfortable and less embarrassed while Alexander tried in his own way asking "So, Xander what have you decided about the marriage?"

"As discussed earlier, it will be in 2 days. No change in that." Xander replied looking at Alexander.

"Wow! I am so excited." Cynthia said while waving her hands in air in pure excitement and continued "Sierra honey, we need to set your wedding dress and other accessories today."

"Yes!"

"Cynthia, you are not allowed to leave the premises. Did you forget? It can be dangerous for Sierra. I don't want to take any risks..." Alexander said in a rough tone trying to remind his wife about the danger Sierra was in.

"But..." Cynthia tried to point out but stopped when Alexander raised his index finger in warning and gave her a stern look.

"No Dad! Let them go." Xander said while looking at his plate and setting back his fork. His statement made everyone turn their head in his direction immediately. It was first time that Xander was so calm talking about Sierra going out when she was still in danger. The unknown danger!

"Momma, go and shop all you want. It's our wedding, and I want Sierra to enjoy selecting each and everything for our marriage. And don't worry! You will always be under protection. So enjoy your day." Xander said while looking at Cynthia. He flashed her a wide smile but it didn't reach his eyes.

Cynthia could understand something was off and she immediately turned towards Alexander and mouthed 'What's cooking up?' She gave him the look 'Is he okay?' Alexander mouthed back 'Relax!' and shot her a look 'He knows what he is doing.'

"Sierra sweetheart! Go and enjoy your day. Cynthia has a good taste. You can see the example right in front of you." Alexander said trying to make Sierra smile as he noticed even she was a bit confused when Xander didn't oppose the idea of the ladies going out.

Cynthia rolled her eyes at Alexander's statement and said "Anyway, Sierra I had already spoken to the boutique manager. We can leave right after our lunch. Rosaline, you and I will go and get you dolled up!"
