Three Weeks Later
Monday
Midoriya's POV:
I don't think I can even describe how proud and excited I felt in that moment. Standing with my classmates while we graduated and were pronounced official heroes.I looked over and beamed at Shoto and he smiled back at me, then he motioned over to an area with several trees and I saw Dabi waving at us. That made me smile a bit when I saw how happy Shoto was to see his brother there on his graduation day—Endeavor was the only other relative who showed up.
I also glanced over my shoulder and saw my dad behind the stage holding Yuki and giving me a thumbs up. Yuki even saw me and cooed with an adorable smile. I smiled back and gently waved at her trying to make sure nobody saw.
There were some speeches from our top preforming classmates. And a few from our teachers, as well as other faculty addressing the issues that occurred this year and how they're going to fix as many of those issues as they can.
Then we all went to get our graduation certificates, and we all shook hands with our teachers. I got a wink from Aizawa and Midnight and so did Shoto, Kacchan and Kirishima. All Might did the same thing except it was a lot easier to tell.
Then we finally exited the stage, parents weren't supposed to get up until all students were off the stage. So I quickly ran behind a crowd of students to Shoto, jumped into his arms, and we immediately kissed each other. I immediately felt the fireworks start going off when we were kissing—and I'm not joking there were literal fireworks once we were announced as UA graduates and heroes. We both pulled away for a minute and I realized that Shoto was holding me a bit off the ground. We both smiled at each other and looked at the fireworks before we kissed again.
I'd say that lasted a minute or so, and within seconds of us pulling away the crowd of students disappeared as everyone started visiting with their families.
My classmates and I had all planned a trip to Osaka for the wedding, and disguised it as a trip made by the teachers. The teachers even backed us up on it and cheered us all on.
We had about fifteen minutes before we had to go. And once Shoto was done talking to Endeavor he went over and hugged his brother, which made me smile. It was about time things started getting better for Shoto, especially after he told me what happened when he visited his mom.
I was with my mom for a bit and we were both crying and super excited. She was bear hugging me and congratulating me for this huge milestone. In the back of my mind, however, I couldn't help but remember the second huge milestone that would happen in a couple days. As well as the other major one from a few months ago that mom couldn't be there for.
Eventually my mom had to go back to work and wished me luck on the trip, I told her thank you and watched her leave for work.
I then went over to my dad and gave him a huge hug and we were both crying from excitement and happiness. A part of me thought I was just dreaming, I just graduated from UA, I've achieved my dreams of being a hero despite what was said to me ever since I learned I was quirk less. I have my dad now and he also happens to be the person that I've looked up to since I was little. And not only that, I also have an amazing fiancé—in three days that'll change to husband—and a daughter that I love with all my heart.
Then a part of my gut started lowering my mood, usually when life let's you be this happy it's because it's about to hurt you. I tried ignoring it and being happy for the day, this wouldn't happen again, after all.
My dad was also holding Yuki for most of graduation, until he went up to speak and handed Yuki to Aizawa for a bit. Nobody else saw her, and Kacchan's parents were holding Tashi.
