...

It never plays out the way it's planned. I should know that much. When I had been created, my purpose was to be a warrior. They gave me a goal and told me to reach it by any means. I was sent to the front lines, and saw the massacre. People turned on each other like beasts. I remember one of my own "brothers" had tried to kill me. That's how I met him.

The King of the Cith. He had killed them, then I remember him looking to me. He formed from shadows into what I could've sworn was an angel. He put out his hand to me and I stared at it.

"I want no violence between you and I," He had told me, "It'll save us hardships."

"I was told not to,"

"You've been told a lot of things, but trust me, and you'll be the one telling." He offered, and I took his hand.

From there, it had been a downward spiral. He made me separate myself from who I was. Marked me as his Cie. I couldn't handle it, so I fled. But no one can run from what they started in the first place.

We had been standing at the Gates of Pulse. He had been trying to get out, because he knew what I was trying to do. I was trying to stop him. I held him back with my axe, heaven shaking behind me, shadows starting to invade from Pulse.

"What has changed between us?" He had asked me, "You are no different than I," I kept him back, gritting my teeth, "We had been such good friends." I breathed out as I looked at him, seeing a smile at the edge of his lips.

"You are no friend of mine." I said, then let myself go. I could no longer hold back my burden. He screamed as light came from me and my eyes were opened, watching as he was thrown back into Pulse. I screamed as the Gates slammed closed and I felt a burning pain go through me.

Then, there was nothing...

Guy...

I woke up, panicking. What was that? It, it was me. But it didn't feel like it was me. I didn't know what to do...

"Guy," Vincent said, and I looked at him coming to my doorway, "Any clothes you need washed? I'm going into town."

"My sweater and shorts." I told him, and got up and gathered them for him into the bag before giving them to him.

"Are you okay?" He asked, taking the bag from me.

I nodded, than smiled at him, "Thank you."

He nodded, then left.

I breathed out, looking to the ground. I rubbed my eyes before starting to go find Cas.

Vincent...

After getting the clothes into the trunk of the Mustang, I got in the front and closed the door, fumbling with the keys. I got it in and turned on the ignition. I went down the road, getting into the glove box. I shifted through the IDs and cards until I got to one of Cas' laundry mat cards I had gotten from her wallet.

I closed the glove box and put the card in my mouth as I kept my eyes on the road, reaching under the seat. I got a granola bar and took the card out of my mouth, starting to eat.

When I got to the laundry mat, I was halfway through a cigarette as I got out. I blew out smoke then started getting the clothes inside. A breeze was pushing me slightly as I started picking up the pace. I got them all in then started filling a washer, taking off my jacket and shirt to throw them in as well. I paid and filled the soap.

I blew out smoke and started the washer. I sat down and put out the cigarette, throwing it into the trash. I put in my headphones, and started going through my phone.
