TJ...
You know when you're new to being able to do things you've only dreamed about because your boss died from a psychopath stabbing him with his own scythe and you kind of take advantage of it and then hook up with a lady you barely know and then end up getting her pregnant? Yeah... Not my week.
"TJ," Taylor said as I walked by him. I stopped and looked at him, "You need to take care of the intake in Limbo."
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because I don't trust Robin." He told me.
"And why wouldn't you trust me, Abby?" Robin asked and we looked to him standing there with his arms crossed.
"I don't know, just something about you has set me off," Taylor told him, "That and you've called me Abomination since we met." I smirked slightly as Robin made a sound of disgust and left. I looked back to Taylor and he handed me the paper, "Get it done."
"Yes sir." I teased, and he pat my shoulder as he left. I rolled my eyes slightly and started heading down the hall.
I got out of the Veil and started walking over the decaying bridge to the Gate of Limbo. I looked to the water below me. The waves hit the shore, glowing in a lining around it. I breathed heavily, feeling the uneasy feeling of entering through the Gate instead of going through to evaluate a soul. I shook my head slightly and went up to the Gate.
I went to put my hand up to it when they started opening. I looked past my hand to the God of Time standing behind the opening Gate with his hands behind his back. I put my hand down as he looked at me.
"You're late." He told me.
"What?" I asked.
"Come on, then." He nodded in and I followed him, the Gate closing behind me.
I looked back slightly, then around to the crumbling pillars and Greek like architecture. I looked back in front of me and almost fell back when I saw a man, if that, staring at me with red eyes. He had his arms crossed and was in some sort of slim dark armor.
"What is a reaper doing here?" He asked in a distinct tone.
"Ease off, he hasn't come to hurt anyone," The Time Lord told him, and I swallowed as the man stared me down, "TJ, come," I looked to the god slightly, stepping carefully to follow him. The man watched me as I walked and I started walking faster.
Once we were entering the throne "room", I looked to him.
"Why exactly do I need to be here?" I asked, and he turned to me.
"There is something looming in our presence," He told me.
"Yeah, I can tell with Dr. Scowl." I nodded back, "Cith having Cie posted in here? That's just crazy."
"Not him," He took the paper from my hand and I watched him, "He's the watcher, he's not going to do anything. Not without Dylan's word."
"And that makes it any better?" I scoffed slightly, "It's not like Pulse is a ticking time bomb or anything."
"And that's why you're here." He took the paper to a cement like slab and rolled it out, "Because something is beginning, if you haven't noticed." I started going by his side, "Lilith has been looking for children of different breeds, all mixed with at least half human." I looked at the list of names, "The Winchester and Jericho have already taken care of the shapeshifter she was planning to use and the child is under the protection of two vampires, but so far, she's already almost gotten children from all species."
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"It means they're trying to summon something," He pointed to a symbol on the page. The symbol of motherhood, "Or more like someone."
