"Okay, so where were you planning to go while you were out of it?" Jack asked me as I rubbed my forehead, "Maybe that's where he's going."

"I don't remember," I told him, "I was not in my own head," I paced slightly, "I just mostly remember wanting to find the Mother and let her out of wherever the hell she is."

"And you don't remember where she is?" Jack asked.

I gave him a certain look, "No, I'm just being an ass and keeping it to myself."

"Okay, I deserved that one," He admitted, "But I'm just trying to make sure you're thinking about everything,"

"Stop thinking I'm not able to Hunt because I'm a fucking human!" I told him and he looked at me.

"Stop yelling!" Guy yelled at me and we looked at him, "You need to get along so we can find Vincent! Please," He breathed heavily as he looked between us.

I nodded, "Okay," I rubbed my forehead as I kept thinking, "I just, remember," I moved my hand to my eyes as I kept thinking.

"Maybe, we solve this, and he'll snap out of it," Jack said, opening his computer, "The cases, they've been sprawled, right?"

I nodded and looked at him. He started clearing papers and stuff off the table. He got into the cup of markers and got the dry and erase marker. He handed it to me and I took it. I got on the table as he started naming off the places the cases were and what happened there. I marked them down on the map as he went.

"Alright," I got on my knees and we looked at the map, "What now?"

"Now," Jack took the marker from me and started connecting the places together into a giant X. He circled the spot in the middle and we looked at it.

"What's there?" Guy asked, looking at us.

"Ley lines connect to sites that meet in the middle to a place where something important is, or at least where something important went down." Jack told him.

"And what happened there?"

"It's a Gate," I looked at them, "And they know where it is."

"Wait," Jack shifted slightly, "The virgins that were killed, they weren't virgins, and dragons track virgins."

"And virgins usually mean rituals." I got off the table and grabbed my jacket, "Which makes me wonder what the hell they're going to do to those kids." Jack and Guy both got horrified expressions as we went upstairs.

Vincent...

I sat in my car with a bottle of vodka, empty bottles of beer in the seat beside me. I took another drink to try and drown out the voice in my head.

"Vincent," My mother repeated and I watched in the rearview mirror as she was in the backseat. I took another drink, looking away from the mirror.

"You're not real," I shook my head slowly, and held my head shakily.

"I am real, Vincent," She told me, "I am your mother."

"My, my mother died," I rubbed my eyes and took another drink.

"I never died." She was sitting beside me and I pressed myself against the door, closing my eyes to try and ignore her. I felt her hand on my arm and I clenched my fist around the bottle.

"Why are you doing this to me," I breathed shakily and looked out the window.

"I need you to help me, Vincent." She rubbed my arm and I felt the pain in my head starting to get worse, whether it be from the drinking or her.
