DELANEY HOVERED HER CHIN OVER RYLAND'S shoulder before slamming it down, grinning when he cried out in pain and turned to glare at her. "You're a fucking child," he snapped and rubbed the tender spot, chiding her for having such a bony face.

She jumped when her laptop rang from across the room, dashing over and quickly pressing the accept button before she carried it over and placed it directly infront of her bed.

"Okay, Mattia — just stay quiet while I fill Ry in, please," she ordered and he nodded. She took a deep breathe before turning to face Ryland again.

Mattia scoffed from the screen, the three seconds that had always passed meant that Delaney was taking too long to come clean and so he did it for her. "Delaney has a crush on Kairi," he shouted, grinning when both of their mouths dropped.

"Mattia—"

"You have a crush on Kairi?" Ryland spoke with wide eyes, his mouth slightly agape. Delaney blushed and crossed her arms, shuffling in her spot uncomfortably.

"I-It's not like a c-crush crush. Um, it's like h-he just said stuff and I-I got butterflies," she stammered as Mattia leant his chin on his hand to look at the two of them. "So you have a crush on him."

"I don't have a crush on Kairi," she snapped, glaring at the two boys as they both began to break down with laughter. "Then you want to fuck him—"

"Dude, that's what I said!" Mattia screeched from the screen, glad that somebody finally knew that he wasn't just a horny kid, but a smart and horny kid.

"No I don't want to fuck — Well...." Delaney trailed off and her face flushed with red as she suddenly felt her body temperature flare up.

"No fucking way, you want to fuck Kai!" Ryland couldn't even contain his laughter and he pushed her softly, jumping when she sent her fist flying into his chest and she felt the air leave his lungs. "Say it again, Ryland," she hissed and when he shook his head, she smiled and turned to Mattia who also stopped laughing at the look on her face.

"What the fuck do I do? I want these feelings gone by playlist," she whined, flinging herself back on the bed as Ryland snickered under his breathe again. At the glance of a single move, he stopped laughing again and kept a straight face.

"Well, you can either snatch him from the witch or you can talk to somebody else and hope that you end up liking them as much as you like Kairi," Mattia yawned from the screen and cocked his head, waiting for her to make her choice.

"I can't just talk to somebody else," Delaney snapped, knowing exactly who he was talking about but nobody quite wanted to admit it. "Why not? You can't say you don't like Alejandro at least a little bit deep down—"

"I don't like him at all. I find no emotional connection to him and I flirt for fun," she deadpanned and Mattia's mouth snapped shut with surprise. "Well damn."

"Talk to Ryland—"

"She's too young for me," Ryland scoffed from besides her, pulling her into his body with one arm. "Dude you guys would be so cute—"

"She's too young."

Mattia sighed, leaning back in his chair as he thought of anyone else that Delaney could use as a stepping stone to get over Kairi. There were only two people left in his mind and he knew the chances were slim, but it's not like he really had anything to lose.

"Troy—"

The look on her face instantly silenced him and he took another deep breathe. "If you want to use me to get over Kairi—" He froze when she started to laugh. It wasn't even a normal laugh, it was a laugh that had her doubled over and wheezing a few seconds later and he glared at her.

"Bruh, I can't fuck with you. I'm tryna help and you're not taking my advice," he snarled and watched as she only began to laugh harder.

"I know you did not just try to turn the fact that you wanna get with me into you trying to help me," she stuttered through her laughter, coughing to a stop when Ryland pinched her hip. "I wasn't—"

He froze as Alejandro's name popped up on the screen and Delaney gave him a glare, daring him to press accept. "Don't do it," she hissed, jumping off the bed to decline but Mattia beat her to it and Alejandro's face popped up in the call. He smiled at the sight of his friends and leaned back in his own chair.

"So what's happening with Laney?" He asked and she shared a glance with Ryland before turning back to the screen. Alejandro gave them a confused glance before she saw Mattia make a move to speak and froze in her spot.

"Funny enough, Lane was just talking about how she wanted to talk to you but she was too scared to say anything," Mattia blurted proudly, crossing his arms as Delaney's mouth fell open and Alejandro's grew into the biggest smile that she had ever seen.

"Wait, really?"
