✧・゚: *✧・゚:* LIFE *:・゚✧*:・゚✧DELANEY GROANED AS SOMEBODY HIT her with a pillow once again, curling up into a ball as she rolled over. "Delaney let's go," Kairi snapped, slamming the pillow against her body again. She finally sprung up and grabbed the pillow from his hands.
Kairi shrieked and ducked out of the way as she sent it flying, his mouth falling open when it hit Mattia square in the face and he glared at her. He made a move to attack her but Ryland and Alejandro took a step infront of her, crossing their arms as Delaney stuck her tongue out from behind them.
She sluggishly got out of the bed and snatched clothes from her suitcase before stepping towards the bathroom. Alejandro and Ryland moved to follow her once again but the door slammed in their faces, freezing their movements.
"Dude—"
Alejandro shoved Ryland and scoffed, "She was getting changed." Ryland looked at him like he was stupid. "She's my bestfriend, I've seen her naked a hundred times—"
"Dude!"
Mattia stepped in and pulled them both away from the door with a small smile, wanting nothing more than to see them fight but right now he wanted to party.
Delaney opened the door and stepped out, when she caught sight of Mattia holding Ryland Alejandro by their collars, she didn't even say anything, just snatched her phone and walked towards the door like she hadn't just taken fourty five minutes to wake up.
"I hate girls," Kairi whined, checking his phone again to see if Celia had texted back yet. When he saw that she hadn't, he sighed and bounced up to front so that he could walk with Delaney. From the back, he heard Alejandro and Ryland still arguing so he decided to take his chance.
"Delaney can I talk to you about soemthing?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck as she nodded and turned to look at him. "Well.. Um—"
"Our uber!" Ryland shouted, rushing past them as he grabbed Delaney's arm and jerked her away with him. Alejandro shouted out a protest and took off after them, clearly not done with the fight he and his friend were having.
When they arrived at the party, once again, Delaney was pulled away with Mattia to play beer pong with Sebastien and Ryland, leaving Kairi unable to talk to her alone. He sighed, abandoning his friends to find Robert and other people that he knew.
On the other side of the house, Delaney squealed as she made a cup and hugged Mattia. "Did you see that? I made it," she told him proudly, sipping from the cup from Sebastien had handed her. Last night had shown him that she wasn't trusted to hold the bottle for herself so he was giving her a little at a time.
Mattia took his own shot, making the cup as she did and the balls were rolled back towards them. Delaney shot once more, squealing again when she made it.
"Dude, Delaney is a cheater," Ryland complained, tossing the ball in the air as he missed and sighed. "You can't cheat in beer pong," Sebastien shot him down, easily making their first cup of the night.
Ryland only shrugged and watched as Delaney made it yet again, chugging the rest of her cup. For somebody who didn't like parties, she sure was good at getting drunk.
By the end of the game, they were down to one cup each and Delaney had yet to miss a shot. She took a deep breathe before throwing the ball, slumping in defeat when it hit the rim and bounced away.
"That's not fair," she whined, discreetly grabbing Sebastien's bottle as she gave him a wink and took a sip. "You're a thief," he groaned, pulling her into the side of his body before he grinned. Mattia eyed the boy and raised a brow, walking over to pull Delaney away from him.
"Alejandro will kill you," he told him, knowing that it was true, but the boy only shrugged and raised his hands up. "I'm not trying to get with her," he snapped, breaking off into laughter when Delaney ducked under Mattia's arm and went right back to Sebastien's.
Kairi was watching from the kitchen and sighed, needing some peace and quiet for a moment. He hadn't seen Celia all night and for a second, he began to get worried. Thing was, he didn't really care what she was doing but seeing Delaney happy with other people was starting to get to him.
He turned and went up the stairs, relieved that the music didn't quite reach where he was. He began to wander down the hallways, opening doors and closing then quickly when he saw what was behind them until, at last, he thought he had found one that wasn't occupied.
Swinging open the door, Kairi froze, the nausea that had been bothering him all night came in full force when he saw the two people on the bed.
Alejandro was the first to see him and he shoved Celia away roughly, scrambling to his feet as he grabbed his shirt from the edge of the mattress. Kairi felt his feet moving backwards until he hit the wall, his mind still racing at what he had just saw.
"Kairi—"
"What the fuck are you doing, Bro? You're—"
Kairi couldn't even find words as Celia made her ways towards them. Her eyes were wide and she looked like she was looking for something to say, coming up empty handed.
"Kai," she finally spoke, her voice soft and full of guilt. "No, don't speak. We're over, understand that?" He snarled, turning to walk away from them until Alejandro grabbed his arm.
"Kairi, please don't tell her," Alejandro pleaded, staggering after him as Kairi froze in his spot once again. He turned and shoved a finger into his chest, pushing his body away from him roughly. "Yeah, whatever, Alejandro."
And with that, Kairi stumbled towards the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him. There was no way that he couldn't tell Delaney. He had just seen his bestfriend kissing his girlfriend and the only thing on his mind was her, like always.
After what felt like forever, Kairi made up his mind and opened the door, stomping down the stairs to do what he had to do. He hadn't even made it to Delaney when he saw her and Alejandro laughing, his arm around her as he smiled, leaning down to kiss her.
In that moment, Kairi couldn't bring himself to ruin her happiness. He watched as the two of them continued to laugh, running around their friends with the biggest smile he had ever seen Delaney Quinn have.
His eyes moved past them to meet Celia's, the blonde girl sat on the couch as she gave him a small frown.
And so Kairi took a deep breath and made his break from the door. He knew what he should do but he also didn't have the strength to see her break, so instead of doing the only thing that could get him his girl, he left.
i hope this is what you wanted.
