𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭. That's what I felt this morning after my phone call with Bonnie. I had left the game early last night not being able to stand staying there much longer. She had told me the news of Mr. Tanner being murdered and that the numbers she had been daydreaming about were connected to the event. I was speechless, but I knew she wasn't lying. It made the pit in my stomach grow, something awful was going on.

My uneasiness grew as I had gotten ready for the Founders Party my family was hosting. I wasn't in the mood to socialize but as the Mayor's daughter I had to go. My hair was already curled to perfection with flowers pinned throughout, and I had on my dark purple strapless dress with matching heels. I was sitting on Elena's bed as Bonnie started going through Elena's perfume selection. I had agreed to help them get ready, but it was hard when I had other things on my mind.

"Dainty flower or Blissful Vixen?" Bonnie asked, holding up two different bottles.

I snorted, "Why don't you go ahead and mix both?"

Elena smiled, "Great idea, Adriana. Let's do that."

Bonnie sprayed her smiling at her best friend, "Well look at you gettin' all gorgeous for your date tonight, you seem happy Elena."

"I am, and tonight is going to be a good night. But, hey, don't let that stop you from telling me what you were going to."

Bonnie sighed, placing the perfume bottles back down, "I'll tell you in the morning, I don't want to ruin the night."

I raised up an eyebrow, "Come on, Bon-Bon, you can't leave us hanging like that."

Bonnie sat down on the bed beside me looking between us, "Fine, but this stays between us otherwise Caroline would kill me if this somehow got back to Damon that she told us. Apparently, Stefan has a very...interesting back story that he hasn't told you."

Elena nodded her head, "Ok."

"Do you know what happened with Katherine, his ex-girlfriend?"

"I know that he and Damon had both dated her, and that's one of the main reasons why they have issues." Elena replied confused, not understanding where this was going.

"They both dated her, but only in the end she chose Damon. And apparently that drove Stefan crazy and he did some horrible things to try and break them up. He evidently manipulated her and told her all of these lies until it finally worked, and Katherine left Damon."

I looked at Bonnie, eyebrow raised, "That sounds suspiciously like one person's side of the story Bonnie. Which means Damon's."

Bonnie sighed noticing Elena's facial expression, "I just wanted you to know, Elena."

"I appreciate it, but his past relationships are honestly none of my business."

Bonnie frowned, "Well, you know, unless he is a calculating manipulative liar then it is your business."

Elena lightly glared at her friend, "And yet, Stefan is none of those things."

Bonnie glared right back, "Yeah? And how can you be so sure Elena?"
