LONELY- 2

Hours had past since Sonic had brought the unconscious hedgehog to his house. Sonic sat at his chair, watching Shadow, making sure he was okay, not wanting Shadow to run off as soon as he has awaken.

Shadow started to stir a bit in his sleep, Sonic watched him, noticing him stirring in his sleep. "He must be about to wake up." Sonic thought to himself as he watched the ebony hedgehog.

Shadow opened his eyes slowly, not recognizing the place he was in. "Where am I?" Shadow mumbled to himself.

Sonic ears twitched to the sound of his voice, as he continued to look at him. "Shadow your at my house. I found you in the middle of the woods earlier today, you were past out and injured." Sonic stated, as he looked at the ebony hedgehog.

"Oh." Shadow simply said, as he sat up slowly. Sonic stared at the ebony hedgehog as he sat up, thoughts racing through his head.

"Why have you been gone for so long?" Sonic asked, as he looked at Shadow, his face full of question. Shadow looked back at the blue hedgehog, not wanting to answer his question.

"Busy." Shadow replied harshly, now advioding eye contact with the blue hedgehog. The blue hedgehog didn't like Shadows answer, and rolled his eyes.

"Doing what?" Sonix asked, with slight anger in his voice. Shadow didn't expect Sonic to be harsh back, so he looked down at the floor, and sighed.

"I was just busy! okay?" Shadow exclaimed nervously. Sonic was kinda shocked, never hearing Shadow sound like that.

"Your hiding something, aren't you." Sonic said, as he walked over the the ebony hedgehog, lifting up his chin with one finger, forcing Shadow to look him in the eyes.

Shadow was shocked, never seeing Sonic like this before. Shadow felt so vulnerable, not being able to fight back. Shadow started to feel tears roll down his face, unable to control his emotions.

Sonic was shocked, never seeing this much emotion from Shadow, he quickly hugged him, trying to comfort him. "Shh it's okay... I'm sorry." Sonic whispered in Shadows ear, as he rubbed his back, trying to calm him down.

Shadow sobbed into the crook of Sonics neck, feeling so many emotions swarm around him. He wasn't sure how he was gonna tell Sonic what was going on, but something told him that it would be his best option to tell him, even if the blue hedgehog was only just his rival.

Shadow was walking in the forest, he hasn't seen his so called "friends" in weeks. Shadow knew his friends were probably worried about him, but he couldn't return back to his friends in the state he was in. If you didn't know already, Shadow is just plain out depressed. Why you may ask, well the only word that can come to mind is being lonely.

Everyone Shadow knew had someone to be with, he had no one because he didn't think anyone would like him. Why you ask, well Shadow is very much gay, and never had feelings for a girl.

Shadow hasn't told anyone he was gay because he felt as if everyone would judge him, he started judging himself after the third week of being alone.

"Who am I kidding, I'll never find love." Shadow said, as he slit a cut into his wrist. The knife tore deeply in his skin, and blood seeped out of the cut, and down his arm, dripping down to grass of the forest floor.

He continued cutting until he realized what he was doing, he shakily dropped the knife and past out, from seeing how much blood he had lost.

Shadow slowly let go of the blue hedgehog, embarrassed for his melt down he just had. "Sorry." He spoke softly, avoiding eye contact once again. Sonic sighed, and once again, made Shadow look into his eyes.

"Shadow your obviously in pain, I'm not sure what's going on but just remember, I'm here for you. I'm worried about you Shads, I've never seen you like this." Sonic spoke, as he looked into Shadow eyes.

Shadow sighed, as he looked back in Sonic eyes, he suddenly felt his heart flutter, as he stared into his emerald green eyes. He felt as if he could stare into them for hours. 'I'm not falling for faker.... am I?' Shadow thought to himself, as he continued staring into the others eyes.

Sonic stared back into Shadows eyes, seeing his gorgeous crimson red eyes, Sonic always loved Shadows eyes, the fact Shadows eyes held so much within always excited to blue hedgehog.

Sonic sighed "I can't force you to say anything, but once your ready, please tell me." Sonic said, looking away from Shadow, and walking away to the kitchen.

Shadow watched Sonic leave him, and he felt heartbroken for some reason. It hurt to see Sonic leave him, as if Shadow was attached to the blue hedgehog. Shadow stared at the floor, as thoughts ran through his head.
