LONELY- 13

After a few hours sense Sonic and Shadow had lost each other, Shadow made his way to find some shelter for the night.

Shadow looked around the dark forest, trying his best not to run into anything, such as trees, bushes, or anything else just in the forest.

The ebony hedgehog managed to find a little cave, he went into the cave, hoping no wild animal already claimed this territory. Hearing nothing inside, he decided to stay there.

Shadow couldn't sleep, he was worried that something might come and try and eat him alive. Yeah Shadows lived in a tent in the forest, but the tent made him feel more safe then a cave.

The ebony hedgehog sat against the cave wall, as he listened to the silence of the night. Shadow made a small smile at the sound of peace surrounding him.

Shadow wondered if the azure hedgehog was still looking for him, he hoped he'd had went home, instead of adventuring out in the dark to look for him.

Shadow ear twitched to a sound of a growl, he froze for a moment, before looking over, and seeing a bear, staring at him, looking angry.

Shadow eyes widened, before dashing out of the cave, only to be followed by the bear. Shadow would run faster, but the ten tons of trees were in his ways.

The ebony hedgehog ran in fear, he was pretty much defenseless at the moment, not wanting to try and fight the bear in the dark.

Shadow almost tripped over a stump as he ran in the dark, looking back every once in a while to see the bear still chasing him, growling.

Shadow soon heard a faint sound of a beep, wondered what the beep was, he continued to run, getting closer to the sound.

The bear growled as he ran after the ebony hedgehog, thinking shadow was a threat due to it being in his territory, other wise known as the cave Shadow was in earlier.

In no means was Shadow intentionally trying to mess with the bear, he was only looking for shelter to stay in for the night, and the time being. Not that the bear knew, I mean he's only a wild animal.

The beeping began to grow louder, as Shadow ran. The ebony hedgehog prayed the sound lead him to safety, somewhere away from this angry bear.

Shadow looked back again, seeing the bear still on his trail, he ran a bit faster, hoping the bear would soon give up on chasing him around the forest.

The bear didn't give up though, it wanted the ebony hedgehog to learn his lesson on going into the bears territory, even if it was by mistake.

Shadow heard the beeping fade away, which made him began to panic, he was trying to find where the beeping lead, and now he won't know.

The ebony hedgehog now began to run his own way, trying to find the best place to run away from his angered bear chasing him.

Shadow wondered if this was going to be the end of him, he felt himself began to get tired from running. He knew if he stopped running he'd be caught by the angry bear and possibly not survive.

Thoughts raced through the ebony's hedgehog's head, as he ran, feeling himself lose his pace of speed. Shadow felt like he was going to collapse if he kept running.

Is this the end of me?

Is it too late to be saved?

Am I truly going to die this time?

Shadow thoughts got worse as he ran, he began to slow down with each thought. He felt like it was to late, that he was already dead at this point.

"Shadow! Wait!"
