LONELY- 15

It was about three years later, everything was peaceful and perfect. Shadow had something stuck in his mind, a question that will change the rest of his life.

Shadow wanted to marry Sonic, he thought it's been long enough. He loved Sonic more then anything, and he thinks Sonic was the one, his soulmate.

Shadow had brought Sonic out to eat earlier today, and they are now strolling through the park, discussing random topics.

Shadow held Sonics hand, as he was a little nervous, he led Sonic to the most romantic place of the park, it had beautiful trees, with flowers surrounding the area.

Sonic was busy looking at the view as Shadow secretly pulled a small box out of his back pocket, and kneeled onto the ground on one knee, waiting for Sonic to look over.

Sonic hummed, then looked over at Shadow and gasped. "Shadow..."

Shadow smiled, as he held Sonics hand. "Sonic, I am so blessed to be here with you today. With out you I wouldn't have survived through many things. You make me happy, and be able to express myself. When I look at you, I know your the one for me, the way your emerald green eyes look into mind, I want to be able to see that for the rest of my life... I hope I'm not asking for too much... but I love you so much... Sonic The Hedgehog, Will you... will you marry me?" Shadow said, as he opened up the box, revealing a beautiful ring.

Sonic gasped and teared up. "Yes!" He said, then went down and hugged Shadow tightly, happy tears flowing down his face.

Shadow smiled and hugged back tightly, happy the hedgehog he loved said yes. He slipped the ring onto his ring finger and smiled. "I love you." He whispered softly, as he looked into his lovers eyes lovingly.

Sonic smiled, and looked back into his lovers eyes with a wide smile. "I love you too." He whispered softly, as he leaned his head closer to Shadows.

Shadow smiled and leaned his head closer, slowly closing his eyes, there lips soon connecting for a soft, passionate, gentle kiss.

Sonic kissed back with all his love and passion, closing his eyes as well. He was so happy, he couldn't wait to marry the hedgehog he loved dearly.

After a few moments they pulled away from the kiss and panted softly as they looked into each other's eyes with a wide smile.

These two were definitely soulmates, no doubt in my mind, nothing would be able to tear these two apart, there bond and connection with each other is to strong, as well as there burning love towards one another.

Shadow was so happy, he smirked and twirled Sonic around, just as if they were dancers. Sonic giggled as he got twirled around.

Shadow smiled at his giggle, his eyes almost sparkling hearing that his lovers happy. He pulled him into another hug, purely happy.

"I love you." Shadow whispered again, into Sonics ear gently, as he caressed his quills gently and lovingly.

Sonic purred and smiled. "I love you too." He replied in a soft, happy voice, being very happy at the moment.

Shadow smiled, being extremely excited for the wedding, Sonic was just as excited, loving the fact he would be able to be by Shadows side for the rest of his life, and that Shadow would be by his for the rest of his life.
