LONELY- 4

Soon the sun rose like every moring, and everyone was now awake, downstairs eating breakfast. Shadow wasn't used to having breakfast, heck he was used to maybe half a meal a day.

Tails looked up to shadow, as he watched him slowly eat his food. "How are you feeling?" Tails asked Shadow, as he slightly raised a brow.

"Fine." Shadow simply replied, as he slowly ate his breakfast. Sonic didn't believe Shadow, remembering last night, but decided not to say anything.

Tails nodded, and continued eating. "Maybe we can help you get back to your place?" Tails said, as he looked back up at the ebony hedgehog.

Shadow nervously looked down, and shook his head. "I'll be fine by myself, no need to worry." Shadow replied nervously.

Both Sonic and Tails noticed Shadow odd behavior, them both knowing Shadows never told anyone where he had lived.

"No we insist!" Sonic said, stepping into the conversation.

Shadow looked down, and sighed. "Please don't tell anyone, but I actually don't exactly live anywhere." Shadow admitted.

Sonic raises a brow. "What do you mean?" Sonic asked the ebony hedgehog.

"I don't have a home, I live in the forest you found me in. I have a tent I stay in." Shadow explained, not looking the others in the eye.

Sonic and Tails faces changed expressions to surprised, to concerned. "Why didn't you tell us?" Sonic asked.

Shadow looked down in embarrassment. "I didn't think it really mattered. I didn't want to bother anyone so I saved up enough money to buy a tent." Shadow said, still looking down.

Tails sighed. "Well your welcome to stay with us for now."

Shadow shook his head. "No no I can't do that-"

"There's no way I'm letting you sleep out in that tent." Sonic almost growled out, Interrupting the other hedgehog.

Shadow sighed in defeat. "Fine. I'll stay, for now." Shadow said in defeat, as he looked down at his food, not feeling hungry.

"Thank you." Sonic spoke, before digging back into his breakfast.

Shadow ended up not finishing his breakfast, barely eating any of it in the first place, which concerned Sonic and Tails. They still haven't figured out of Shadow had been doing self harm, scared to ask the ebony hedgehog, knowing he might lash out at them for asking.

The three of them ended up watching a few more movies after breakfast, passing time. Shadow really wanted to get out of the house, but he was scared Sonic and Tails would follow him.

Shadow finally had enough of being in the house after the third movie they watched and sat up from the couch. "I'm going out." Shadow said, as he headed out towards the door.

"Where you going?" Sonic asked, as he looked at Shadow.

"None of your concern." The ebony hedgehog replied, before running out of the house.

Sonic sighed, a little worried about why Shadow wouldn't just tell them where he was running off to, but the reason Shadow didn't was because he had no idea where he was going, considering he just left with no plan.

Shadow ran around, feeling the fresh. He started to get lost in his thoughts again, as he ran around a open field.

"What if I did kill myself? Where would I go? I don't particularly have a soul." Shadow thought to himself as he ran.

Hours has past and Shadow still had not returned, which worried Sonic, considering it was getting dark out.

"Should we look for him?" Sonic asked the two tailed fox.

Tails sighed, and shrugged. "Maybe, I'm not really sure." Tails replied.

Sonic sighed, and looked at the door. "I'll go look for him, you stay here just Incase he returns." Sonic said as he sat up, and started walking towards the door.

Tails nodded, and picked up his book he was reading and continued to read, as Sonic ran out the door, looking for Shadow.
