LONELY- 12

Sonic dashed home, and ran into his house, he seen Tails was sitting in his chair, reading his book. He went to Tails, shaking a little.

Tails looked up from his book, seeing the panic looking Sonic. "Are you okay?" The two tailed fox asked, as he put down his book. "Where's Shadow?" Tails asked, seeing Shadow wasn't there.

"I-I don't know... I lost him when we were racing, and I can't find him." Sonic stuttered out in worry, as he looked at the two tailed fox.

Tails looked at Sonic in worry. "Where was the last place you've seen him?" Tails asked, as he stood up from his chair.

Sonic thought for a moment, before responding. "Near Oak Bridge." The azure hedgehog replied, as he looked at Tails.

Tails nodded, and thought for a moment. "We could first attempt to look for him, and then we could send a search party to help if we still can't find him." Tails suggested.

Sonic nodded. "Okay, are we gonna go out and look for him now?" Sonic asked, seeing it was dark out now, sense it's was night time.

Tails thought for a moment. "We can, but it's pretty late." Tails replied, looking at Sonic for a moment. "But if your really worried, I don't mind going now."

Sonic made a small nod. "Thanks Tails, I appreciate it." Sonic spoke, before grabbing Tails and dashing out of the house, and to Oak Bridge.

Once they got there, Tails pulled out a machine, that could locate chaos energy. He pressed a few buttons, before a map appeared.

"We can use this to try and track him by his chaos energy." Tails said, as he started walking towards a direction, hearing the machine beep grow a bit louder as he walked.

Sonic follows Tails, as he lead the way of where the device wanted them to go. The device stopped beeping for a moment, so Tails turned directions, and it's started to beep again.

They weren't close enough on the map to spot exactly where the energy was coming from yet, but they were close enough to get a signal.

Sonic bit his lip nervously as he follows Tails through the darkened area, only having a small flashlight to see exactly where they were going.

Tails changed directions a few times, not having much progress, but he wasn't going to give up too easily. Tails continued to walk, hearing the device beep a bit louder.

Sonic looked around, they seemed to be in a forest, there were multiple trees scattered across the land of the forest, Sonic could imagine Shadow getting lost in this.

Tails device stopped beeping again, he turned and a few different directions but it wouldn't beep anymore.

Tails raised a brow, as he wondered how it lost signal, he hit a few buttons, but nothing worked. He bit his lip, as he reset the device.

Sonic watched, not knowing what Tails was doing. "Is everything okay?" Sonic whispered to the two tailed fox in curiosity.

Tails nodded. "Yeah, it's just I've lost signal." Tails replied, as he held the device up in the air, trying to regain his signal.

Sonic nodded, and waited patiently, knowing it might take a while for Tails to regain signal on his little device he was using to find Shadow.

Tails looked at the device, and heard a beep, he smiled and began walking again, following where the beeps told him to go.

Sonic followed behind the two tailed fox, hoping his device would lead them to Shadow as soon as possible.

They both hoped the ebony hedgehog was okay, knowing that it must be at least a bit scary for him to be on his own in the middle of the night, in the dark all alone.

Sonic bit his lip again, wondering what Shadow was doing. He hoped Shadow was okay on his own, he hoped he at least found shelter to stay safe in.

Tails device began to beep louder, as the map now had a red dot pointed on the map, the red dot seemed to be moving at a fast pace.

Tails located the dot exactly, and made a small grin. "I think I found him." Tails whispered, as he showed Sonic the screen.

Sonics eyes lighten up, seeing the dot moving across the map quickly. He made a small smile, as him and the two tailed fox started to run in the direction the dot was going, praying it was Shadow.
