LONELY- 11

Soon they released Shadow out of the hospital. Sonic had boughten Shadow back home, and now Shadow permanently moved in. Instead of sleeping in the guest room, he now slept beside Sonic.

It's not that Shadow really and a choice to where he slept, Sonic forced him to sleep next to him, worried that what happened before may happen again.

Shadow made a promise to himself never to do that again, no matter how tuff the time was. A lot of changes happened with Shadow, he was now in better moods, not as gloomy and moody as before.

Currently Shadow and Sonic were having a race, still not getting over their rivalry.

Sonic smirked as he ran ahead of Shadow, trying to prove he was faster. Shadow shook his head and smirked, soon getting next to Sonic.

"About time you caught up." Sonic chuckled, as he looked over at Shadow, as he ran.

Shadow smirked. "Well your about to be in the dust if you don't watch out." Shadow said, as he ran ahead, leaving Sonic behind.

Sonic eyes widened for a moment, before he came back to reality. "Hey! Get back here!" Sonic said as he ran faster, trying to catch up.

Shadow laughed and ran faster, getting away from the blue hedgehog. He continued running faster, and faster, until he stopped hearing the blue hedgehogs steps behind him. He stopped and turned around, he didn't see Sonic, he didn't see anyone, he was all by himself, alone.

"Sonic?" The ebony hedgehog spoke out loud, as he looked around, he realized he was now lost, not recognizing the area he was in at the moment.

Shadow walked around, there were trees everywhere, and it was hard to see where he was going due to the overload of trees.

Sonic had lost Shadow as they had ran, he looked around, calling out the ebony hedgehogs name, only to fall upon death ears.

"Shadow!" The blue hedgehog yelled out, as he heard no response. Sonic began to become a bit paranoid, and he started to freak out and panic.

"Sonic!" Shadow called out, trying to find the blue hedgehog, but he couldn't.

The two hedgehogs didn't realize they were no where near each other. They kept calling each other's names, trying to find each other.

Shadow cursed under his breath, blaming himself for losing Sonic. He had gotten too carried away in the race, and ended up going way to far.

Sonic blamed himself for not being able to keep up with the ebony hedgehog, he felt as if this was all his fault.

Tears began to form in Sonics eyes, as he looked for the ebony hedgehog, he was very much worried for the ebony hedgehogs well being.

Sonic prayed Shadow was okay, as he ran around, looking for him. "This is all my fault, I couldn't keep up." Sonic scolded himself, as he ran.

Shadow continued looking for the blue hedgehog, not giving up on his search, he walked, and walked, and ran, or at least attempted to, but it was a bit difficult due to the trees in his way.

It began to get late, the blue hedgehog seen it was getting dark, and yelled Shadows name once more, hoping maybe the dark hedgehog was just playing a cruel joke on him, but he heard not response.

Another tear escaped Sonics eye, as he looked down that the ground, sniffling a little. "Please be okay... I will find you no matter what..." The azure hedgehog whispered, before dashing back home, to hopefully find some help for the search of the ebony hedgehog.
