Sonic and Tails were running towards the direction of the dot on the map, Sonic had to run at a speed Tails could keep up with though.
The dot moved quickly, but luckily they were catching up. Tails kept up with Sonic, though sonic was going a bit quicker with speed.
Soon they seen a figure running, there was two figures, one looked like A hedgehog and one looked like a bear. Then it hit them...
"Shadow! Wait!" Sonic yelled as he ran after them, going ahead of Tails.
Tails seen the bear and stopped running, he looked through his backpack for his net, he came prepared for this.
Shadow kept running, though he thought he was about to die, he heard Sonic voice and felt a little better, but he also didn't want Sonic to die of course.
Once Tails found the net, he ran after Sonic so he could give it to him, as soon as he kept up, he held out the net.
"Here, take this so you can trap the bear!" Tails said, as he held out the net.
"Okay! Thanks bud." Sonic said, as he took the net, then ran faster, and went in front of the bear, and wrapped it around the net, trapping it down.
Shadow didn't hear foot steps behind him anymore and turned around, to see the bear trapped in the net, and Sonic and Tails walking towards him.
Shadow ran towards Sonic and gave him a big hug. Sonic hugged back tightly, his worry and stress fading away.
"I'm sorry..." Shadow whispered in Sonics ear.
Sonic shook his head. "There's no reason to be sorry." Sonic whispered back, as they hugged.
Shadow made a small smile, glad that he was back with Sonic. Sonic was glad as well, happy he found his love.
They hugged for a few more minutes before releasing, looking into each others eyes lovingly.
Tails was putting away his machine, sense he knew where they were now, he kept his map out just Incase though.
Shadow and Sonic went over by Tails after they were done with what they were doing. Tails lead them out of the forest safely, and back home.
Sonic was glad they found Shadow before it was morning, Shadow felt bad for running off but Sonic wasn't mad about that.
They went to bed peacefully, having good dreams, and no nightmares to haunt them...
