LONELY- 6

A few longing hours later, everyone had went to there rooms to sleep, well besides Shadow, he had other plans for that night.

Shadow waited for everyone to fall asleep, he waited for a good hour. He was pretty confident the blue hedgehog and two tailed fox were fast asleep by now.

He tipped toed out of the house, not making a single noise, once he got to the front door, he quickly ran out and shut the door quietly.

He had left a note on the table before he had left, no he didn't say what he was doing on it, or where he was going, it was more of a goodbye, thank you, note.

Shadow made his way back to the forest, he had everything he needed. A rope, knife, gun, and himself. He had multiple options, he examined each one carefully.

He picked up the gun, and put it to the side, he then looked at the knife and rope, he picked up the knife, and put it to the side, leaving him with just the rope.

He thought the rope would be the quickest way out, sense he'd pretty much be dead as soon as he dropped, because the rope wouldn't allow him to breathe, sense it would be around his neck.

He brought the rope the a near by tree, he climbed up to the tallest tree branch and started tying the rope to it, once he was down he carefully tied it around his neck, with tears flowing down his eyes.

Goodbye, I'm sorry for everything I've done, I regret everything I've done that I couldn't fix. I can't handle this pain anymore, it hurts, I can't keep hiding it. There's nothing more I can do, I can't keep running, I can't keep living, all I can do is end the pain in misery I've set myself and others through.

I'm sorry for those who attempted to help me, but it's too late, I'm stuck in this darkness of hell I'll never be able to escape. It's too late, the time you guys will get to read this, I'll be gone.

Dear Rouge, don't cry... I'm sorry for having to end things this way, just remember from how stubborn and stupid I was, I still cared dearly for you, and that's goes along for everyone I've known. I love you Rouge, not just as friend, but as family. You were the first one to show me kindness and compassion, I wish I could return everything you've done for me, I didn't deserve anything you've given me. Thank you, Rouge.

Dear Sonic, thank you for helping me, giving me a home, showing that you'd care. I'm sorry I didn't return your kindness, your compassion, the way you cared. The truth is, I was scared. I was scared to express feelings for you because... well because I liked you, a lot... like isn't even the right word, I loved you, I still do. I was scared you didn't love me back, I mean why would you? I'm not the type of person someone would love. I'm sorry for everything I've done to you, I didn't mean any of it. Thank you, Sonic.

This is my final goodbye, this is my ending, this is where I end. I loved you all, you were all family to me, the closest thing I've had to family. I'm sorry for those I've hurt, but this is my time, my fate. Goodbye, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything more, we will reunite someday hopefully.

Shadow finished wrapping the rope around his neck, and looked down on the ground. "No take backs now." Shadow spoke quietly, as a tear flowed down his face. "Saranora." Shadow spoke, as he let his body drop down from the tree, and let the rope tighten around his neck.

He couldn't breath anymore, everything was fading, the rope was tightly wrapped around his neck. He closed his eyes, that last tear falling down his cheek, as he gasped out his last breath.

His heart stopped beating, his lungs stopped working, his body shut down. His fur became darker, as he hung there, his lifeless body swinging a back in fourth slowly in the wind.
