Kyna and I woke up to rapping on our door. I jumped and answered it as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. I found Colson fully dressed and armor on. "Are we really going this early?" I asked. He nodded, "If we want to catch the train on time." I cocked my head, "Train?" I asked and Kyna groaned from behind me. "Is that the only untrackable transport?" She asked as she thumped out of bed. "Unfortunately," Colson replied, "We're also going to need a glamour." He added. I gave him a mocking salute and shut the door. I pulled on black leggings and a black longsleeved shirt. I shrugged my armor on over it and then a hoodie to hide my top half of armor. Kyna did the same with a grey and dark blue AJR hoodie, mine was a black Panic! at the disco sweatshirt. We laughed when we both noticed we were wearing band merch. I grabbed an ink well and a brush. Kyna and I went to the boy's room and knocked on the door. Cas let us in and I dropped onto their rug and started prepping my brush. "What are you doing?" Colson asked as I started painting temporary runes on my armor. "Hiding my armor with runes, it's a lot less draining," I replied as I continued painting. They took turns having me paint runes on their leg armor. They took Kyna's advice and they all put on hoodies. They were all wearing GHS hoodies. We stepped out of the hotel just as David came running up the sidewalk. "We gotta go!" He cried and continued running past us with the chains in his arms. We ran after him. I looked behind us to see a sorry sight. "Please tell me those aren't Empousas!" Kyna pleaded when she saw the copper legged, fire-haired and fanged monsters. "Yeah, and how my mom lost control of them I don't know!" I yelled as we kept running. We followed Colson to a train stop. We jumped on the one heading towards Wyoming. We ran down the carts and magicked our way into the storage area. We heard the heavy footfalls as we stepped into the storage area the only place to hide was four chests that could fit at least two teenagers inside. They were still skinny and small, so there was no way I was getting in there willingly. "απόκρυψη της μυρωδιάς," I spelled so they wouldn't be able to smell us. Kyna David and Cas each shut themselves inside a chest so Colson and I had to share. I shook my head but Colson grabbed my wrist and I was pulled into the chest. It was shut quickly and I was trapped. I started breathing quickly and my head was spinning. The walls were closing in and I was very close to thrashing. My Irish accent was showing as I pleaded, "Help, help," I shook my head and latched onto Colson's arm. "I need to get out," my accented voice was choked and barely audible but he heard it. He put a hand over my mouth and pulled me close to him as a thundering of steps passed us. My breathing was shallow and quick as I clung to him pleading to stop the walls from closing in. "They aren't," His soft words were barely audible, "See I can move the wind in here." A small breeze brushed my face. "There are space and air, it's going to be ok." I nodded against his shoulder. The physical contact was comforting and my breathing slowed slightly. He stiffened and I looked up into his sky blue eyes. I saw that my arms had turned black and my eyes probably were too. I slumped back into him when my breathing grew erratic again. He was stiff and uncomfortable but he relaxed eventually holding on to me, making sure I didn't hyperventilate from claustrophobia. The thundering steps passed again but they didn't fade off they just stopped. The Empousas were in this room. Their hisses could be heard. There was a creak from above us, one of them was sitting on the chest we were in. Colson and I both stiffened. Our grip on one another tightened. "They couldn't have just disappeared." One hissed angrily and stomped their heavy metal leg. I flinched as they continued speaking. "Should we really be doing this, we are going to face the wrath of mistress if we kill her daughter," one pointed out. "Hecate isn't mistress anymore," a new voice growled. "She's still powerful," the scared one retorted. "Kronos is more so," one said, "Soon we will be on top, not gods." With that hurrah the thundered out of the room. We both sighed with relief. Quietly of course. The train rumbled on and we finally got out of the chests. I scrambled out and took in 10 really deep breaths and opened the window on the wall of the train. Kyna got out shakily and it looked like she was holding back puke, her motion sickness seems to have no bounds. When I turned around I saw Colson blushing furiously, Cas laughing, David laughing too, and Kyna smirking at us both. "What?!" I asked. She simply smirked more unsettlingly and laughed creepily. I was beginning to learn Kyna could be very creepy, as well as psychic and smart. Her grey-blue eyes found me flushing too, and I stuck my tongue out at her smug smirk. "Little shit," I said under my breath. She laughed, "That's me." We jumped off the train as soon as it stopped and hurried to a Sanctuary hotel. Kyna and I ducked into a room and tried to shower off what the Empousas said. Kronos was returning. Those Empousas rebelled against my mother and joined him. I sat in the water for a moment letting it run over me. There was a loud pounding on the door and I flinched. "Hurry up in there!" Kyna yelled. I let out a sigh and turned the water off. I wrapped a towel around myself but left my short black hair wet against my head. I pulled on my Panic! at the disco hoodie and another pair of black leggings. (I have a lot of black leggings) I curled up on the bed and pulled out a spellbook from my bag. I flipped through it for a little bit as Kyna showered. My hair dried quickly as I read through the spells. I fell asleep as Kyna was getting dressed again, she was now in a Star Wars hoodie. Such a nerd I thought as I fell asleep.
