I didn't remember much from the homecoming. I remember many hugs and frantic yells when people realized we were all hurt in some way. We were carted off quickly and I had passed out. It was a dreamless sleep full of murky darkness and aches. I felt myself surface from it a couple of times. I remembered concerned bright blue eyes with cat pupils filled with worry and frantic voices. I recognized some but I couldn't place them in the state of unawares I was in. It was all fuzzy and far away. I slipped back into the darkness again. In what felt like seconds I fully emerged from the dark state. I flew up into a sitting position only to fall back with a wince from the spiking pain. "Alyx!" Kimon jumped for my side, "Are you there?" He asked. I nodded. He smiled brightly, "You won, you know, you beat Typhon!" I smiled back, "How long was I out?" I asked. "A day," He replied. "Not bad," I answered with a smirk. "There's going to be a celebratory dance, and I heard Colson scolded his entire Tier," He smirked slyly, "There is nothing stopping the Minors and the Creatures from getting into it." I chuckled darkly, "I wouldn't have it any other way," I moved stiffly into a sitting position. I shifted so I was sitting in front of Kimon with my legs hanging off the bed. "Ki, so many things happened," I shuddered as Typhon's voice rumbled in the back of my mind. He reached over and rubbed my shoulder reassuringly, "It's going to be okay, I promise," His silver eyes shone as he smiled at me. I smirked back, "Alright, I've been laying down for too long," I shoved myself to my feet and wobbled a bit. Kimon caught me but knew not to try to get me back in the bed. "You're too stubborn for your own good my friend," He commented as he opened the door for me. "Can you help me to my dorm?" I asked and stumbled again. "Yes," He nodded and helped me through the building and up the stairs. He opened the door to my dorm for me and my eyes widened when I saw the interior. Alice, Sabrina, Cedric, Draco, Semestra, Raven, Kyna, David, and Cas, were all inside sitting on the beds and biting their nails. "ALYX!" They all cried with surprise and jumped up. "Yes!" I replied with equal enthusiasm. "You're alive!" Semestra cried and her eyes began to tear up. "Yes, I am," I replied and leaned against the wall. "Don't think you're getting out of hugs, by almost dying!" Cedric wagged his finger at me then pulled me into a tight hug. I buried my face into his shoulder as everyone piled in with their own hugs. "Do you know how much street cred you gave to the children of Hecate!" Alice said as we all dispersed, "Even the Ares kids are leaving us alone!" I smiled softly, and Kyna and I made eye contact. She saw my question before I asked it and shook her head. Cas was next to her with his arm around her soilders. Cas smiled at me too. "Never thought I'd see the day when my siblings sat in the same room willingly with an Olympian and a Top," I chuckled to hide my slight disappointment. Alice laughed out loud, "We never did either, but they were just as concerned as we are," Alice's eyes flashed to black hinting towards her magic. She looked inside their heads, and to be honest I was not surprised. Her fangs gleamed with her crazy glee. Kyna was emotionless in the face but I saw her amusement at my sister. She was too smart to not have known what Alice had done. I pushed off from the wall and didn't stumble, "Out!" I shooed them out, "I need to change out of this hospital garb!" I was wearing a white gown that tied in the back, that was to bright for my dark soul. "Alright, alright," Kimon laughed, "But you have to let Bella and I dress you for the dance tonight!" He winked as the door shut. I smiled at the door before I collapsed on my bed. The anxiety began to claw at my stomach. Was he okay? If he was where was he? Why wasn't he with the rest of the group? Did he have to deal with quest leader stuff? I groaned and dragged my hands through my hair. It had gotten longer over the quest, I would need to fix that. I sat up, ignoring the ache in the back of my head and made my way up to the trunk in front of my bed. I pulled out my leather jacket, a pair of ripped black jean shorts and a cropped fitted high necked tank. I pulled them on quickly and stood in front of the bathroom mirror to stare for a minute. I almost didn't recognize myself. I looked older. I also looked more somber. Fear had been inside my head from the very beginning of the quest, and now it was stronger. I shook my head and let out a sigh, "I'll figure this out, I will," I reassured myself, even if I only felt it halfway. I stepped out of the bathroom and immediatly felt a change. I looked over the window to where the winter breeze had come from. I ran over to it and leaned out. I saw a flash of shiny gold but it was gone before I could get a good look. I stayed out for a moment letting myself frown. I retreated back into the room and shut the door with bang. I smirked as I made the satisfying noise. I jogged to my door and shoved it open. I ran into the halls of the dormitory and burst out of the building and into the courtyard. "Alyx!" I turned to see a waving Kyna running towards me, "Come with me! We have a post quest meeting!"
