"Alyx, Alyx, ALYX!" Kyna's frantic voice brought me out of the murky darkness. I groaned in pain as I awoke. I felt stabbing pains in the base of my neck and head. My arms were basically dead and the world was still smudged in black in my vision. I saw Cas shiver at the sight of my half magic form half not. "Did we win," I asked weakly. "No, we're all dead," Kyna replied with sarcasm coating her voice. I snorted and immediately winced from the movement. "Kyna," I pointed to my bag, "Can you grab the bottle of herbs I used to heal you?" She nodded, rummaged through my bag, and handed me the ginkgo. I grabbed a small chunk of it and shoved it into my mouth. I chewed and felt the magic seep into my bones. I was able to stand by the time I swallowed. The headache lingered and my side still ached, but I could move. Kyna stood up with me, surprisingly agile considering she was slammed to the ground with the biggest spike I had seen today. Colson sat a little way away on a park bench staring at the Yellowstone view. We made our way over, "Colson? Buddy ya ready to go?" Cas asked as he leaned against the bench. He nodded and David helped him up. I noticed he was clutching his stomach, but he was walking fine. "Not so fast questers," Colson was the first to see the owner of the deep voice, "Dad?" He asked. We all turned to see who had spoken. He was a tall man with golden hair and sky blue eyes like Colson's. The only thing he had besides godly status that Colson didn't was a short beard. He wore a simple white suit and strapped to his leather belt was a crackling bolt of lightning. Sitting in his golden hair was a simple but sturdy golden crown. "Zeus," We all breathed with wide eyes. The god smirked with cocky satisfaction at our amazement. I already didn't like him. "You've won, and son you were amazing," Zeus clapped a silent and stunned Colson on the back. We were all quiet as he congratulated his son. He ignored the rest of us, but Colson was the quest leader, right? We all shared a glance. "Sir," Kyna interrupted, "We learned something we would like to converse about." Zeus looked very annoyed that Kyna interrupted him, "What is it, child?" I saw Kyna bite back her anger, "We have many sources confirming that the Titan king Kronos is returning. Were you not aware of this or were you keeping us in the dark?" Kyna's statement was a bite disguised as an interviewer's question. We all sucked in a breath before the god replied. "We were getting tips it was happening but we don't trust the word minor monsters," Zeus tried to dismiss it. "Well then sir, do you trust the word of Typhon?" I fired back while Kyna and I shared a smirk. Zeus inhaled sharply, he was cornered, "We hadn't had it confirmed until now," He dismissed again. Colson shook his head at Kyna and she shut her mouth cutting off her next retort. "Now then," Zeus clapped his hands, "Let me bring you all back home, you all look awful." He beckoned us towards him. "Jee thanks," David muttered under his breath. Zeus didn't appear to have heard him. He snapped his fingers and a wide rectangle of light appeared to our right. "Walk through it and you will be back inside Greek High School," Zeus said with a cocky smile, "Off you go, we'll meet again." Lightning cracked down from the clear night sky and struck the king of the gods, and he was gone. "Let's go home," Colson said and we turned to the light rectangle. We all limped into it, leaning on each other as we did.
