Typhon roared in pain once the mist bore into his body. "YOU WENCH!" He bellowed and I took off from the ground. David threw an end of the chain to me and I caught it out of the air. With a dive I buried the chains end into the dirt and held it there. "NO!" Typhon cried and tried to pull away. "I. Don't. Think. So." I growled and used the mist to strengthen me. "Alyx!" My head whipped over to where Kyna yelled from, "The spike!" I nodded in response and ripped a metal stake from my bag. "EAT THIS TITAN!" I cried and plunged the spike into the chain. With a loud clang, magic was sent zinging through my section of the chain locking it into place. I let out an exhale and took off into the air again. I looked around frantically and saw Cas fighting off one of Typhon's stormy jets. "CAS!" I cried, "SPIKE CHAIN!" I held out my hands as he threw both into the air. I caught them and repeated the process. Another clang filled the room as I saw Kyna finish hers. Sweat coated her pale skin and I saw a large gash on her arm. She shook her head cutting my worry off. "WE"VE GOT MORE COMPANY!" David yelled as minions filed in. "CAS AND I'VE GOT THEM!" Kyna replied. Cas and her dashed over to the doorway and grappled with the henchmen. "FOOLS!" Typhon roared, "ALL OF YOU!" his voice was full of desperation. I was breathing heavily as I hovered in the air. With a sudden yell, Typhon let out spikes of his stormy matter. I sliced them down, spike by spike, with my chakram. I panicked as they picked up intensity. More and more flew at me. Before I noticed it one flew from Typhon's arm and struck me in the side. It ripped me out of the air and sent me rolling across the floor. He wasn't weakening even though he was being chained down. Wait. Brethren of the Undersea. "Colson!" I cried as I staggered up, my wings had disappeared. "Alyx!" He yelled back. I ran towards his voice and saw him fighting off a stormy jet. Once he saw me he shot it down with a blast of lightning. "Give David the last chain!" I cried over the roar in the room. He nodded confused and ran away from me. I looked down at my hands and saw mist was floating off of it and I could feel the pain of overusing my magic in the back of my head. I shook it off and ran around to see Colson handing David the chain section. With a blast of strength, we converged on the final link. David held it down as Colson tossed the spike to Kyna. Kyna ripped it out of the air. She leaped through the air trying to get to the chain in a final bound, but she was caught off. A jet of stormy water slammed into her sending her rolling away and the spike slid over and knocked into my boot. "KYNA!" we all cried when she failed to get up. I gritted my teeth and grabbed the spike off the ground. I dashed a stretch and pressed the spike into Colson's chest, "Finish it Quest Leader," I smirked out of breath and he smiled back. With no other words, Colson tore in David's direction. Cas and I shot down jet after jet, protecting Colson. Lighting was beginning to gather around the Child of Zeus as he kneeled next to David. With a cry, he plunged the spike into the floor and his lighting raced up and down the chains in victory. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Typhon cried and he collapsed onto his pool of lava in defeat. A shockwave boomed through the cavern and a stillness fell over us. We all let out a gasp. "Don't be relieved just yet puny demigods," Typhon's weakened voice tsked, "I may be defeated, but Kronos is much stronger than I," With a cackle, the lightning and malevolent glow emanating off of Typhon's form was snuffed out and all was silent. The pain in the back of my head was back and was blurring my vision. "So much for keeping them pacified," Colson said with a tired smirk. The smirk was soon turned into a look of panic as I stumbled. With a groan, I collapsed and the world turned black.
