Mike, Tony, and I played videos games for most of the day. I suggested that we should just get groceries so we didn't have to worry about it, but no matter what they always threw it back at me. Mike and Tony were not going to get groceries, and I sure as hell wasn't going to go alone.

"We should get ready." Tony remarked before setting his controlled on his bed. We were playing in his room where the console was plugged in. For a second, Mike and I looked baffled, but then I got it. We were going to a club tonight or something. I sighed, disconnecting the controller before standing up.

"Okay." I replied before heading off to my own room. What I was wearing wasn't a big deal, but I did want to brush my teeth and comb my hair.

My eyes met the book. "No... I'm not going to read anymore of.... You." I said slowly, but with every glance I began to grow eager to know what comes next.

"Almost ready?" Mike asked, walking up and punching me. I was in a complete daze, so it wasn't surprising that I almost fell. Mike placed his hands on my shoulder, helping me gain balance.

"Y--Yeah." I responded which made Mike smile. Both of us left the room before I entered the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. When I was done, all three of us left the house again before walking down the sidewalks, off to somewhere where I'd most likely get in trouble.

The club was crowded and congested. It felt exactly like concerts did. You have no personal space, people are being complete assholes, and you're stuck in one place basically.

Mike and Tony had ingested a few beers before they convinced me to drink at least one. I've never been a big drinker, but I'm not sure why. I love the taste of basically any alcoholic drink and my stomach can hold a lot of alcohol.

Mike bought a fourth beer, but I stopped him. "You're going through those fast, drink some water first." I ordered him.

"Why?" He asked. His breath reeked of whiskey and alcohol.

"Because you obviously want to get drunk, but water in between beers can help reduce the likeliness of a hangover." I explained, sounding like some sort of teacher. I didn't mean for it to sound like that, but it sure did.

"Smart, Quinn." Mike said with a smirk before taking a glass of water and chugging it.

Tony ran off somewhere. Undoubtedly I knew he'd be the first one drunk. He'd also be the first one looking for someone to bring back tonight. I haven't known him for long, but I know damn well that's what he's intended ever since we made the plan to come here.

I was left alone as Mike grabbed his beer and headed off to the floor. I chuckled at him, watching him almost trip on his own feet. Drunk people were always entertaining it seemed.

Hours flew by as I had a few more beers. I was still entirely aware of my surroundings though, unlike others. I spotted Tony and Mike with a couple of girls on the other side of the room. Me being me, I stayed behind. A relationship was the last thing on my mind. Plus, I didn't even like girls anyways.

The bartender gave me a free jello shot for some reason, probably because he saw that I was stable and wanted to get everyone in here as drunk as possible. And do you wanna know why they do this to people? So you get so wasted that you'll possibly pay them more money then you meant to. I've seen it happen all of the time. Can you blame them? They're probably living off of minimum wage.

With a sigh, I left the bar to explore. I was hot, so I removed my fleece before tying it around my waist. People danced with one another, too lost in each other to pay any ounce of their attention to me. Not that I wanted that anyways, me being the solace of attention was the last thing I wanted.
