"Ahhh, sorry to disturb!" Shouted Taeyong.
His voice sounded like he was panicking. He is one of my co-beta's.

"The elders and the pack are waiting for hour news!" Oh yes, I got a little carried away. I will have fun later.

Ri's pov
I sat waiting patiently on this big bed waiting until a middle-aged woman comes in. Her name is Diana.

"Please do not call me to miss. You are older than me. Call me Ri." She nodded in response.
I was about to put the necklace around my neck suddenly Lucas came barging through the door.
Lucas's pov
She looked so heavenly. Like an angel. I grabbed her hand pulling her towards me.
She dropped her necklace but I do not have time. We rushed my throne room.
"Listen, speak when you are spoken to." She nodded looking so discontented.
The big door flung open revealing my pack and the elders. She felt uncomfortable with the many eyes staring at her.
"She is my mate. So respect her as you respect me. Insults would not be tolerated." She looked surprised by my words. My mother came up to us.
"Oh, the alpha has a mate. He will have an heir. Our pack will flourish." She said taking Ri's hands in her own.

Ri's pov
"I am not going to marry you or be your mate!" I screamed at Lucas.
He seemed to be taken back.
"That is not for you to decide." Said Lucas while grabbing my wrist.
"Oh really. It is my life and I can do as I please. I want to go home now." He looked angry.
"Well if you leave do not blame me for the consequences!" He said while looking into my eyes.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"If you leave then I will not hesitate to make your family pay. Make the world pay. Make humanity pay. It is all up to you. You can choose the simple way or the difficult way." He said holding my wrist tighter.
Without knowing the tears kept pouring down. His large hands stroked my cheek. Wiping the tears away. I do not want to be touched by him. He is a beast. A monster. I have to keep everyone safe. I can not be ungrateful and selfish.
"Look at us! I am merely sixteen years of age, how do you expect me to walk down the aisle with you! You are like six years older than me! How is this going to work when I am mortal and you are not?" I mumbled out.
"So what? I do not care! Age is just a number and I am like a foreigner in your world! But sweetheart, the heart wants what it wants! So who am I to deny what my soul longs for and that my beloved is you!" He snapped out before resuming his words once again.
"So dear. What is the choice? Stay and be my woman or let the world suffer. By being my mate and queen you can prevent that." I know what to choose.
My vision gets blurry with tears. This monster of a man.
