Chapter Five - Pretty

The sun was shining brightly. Making everything burn under its gaze. It was about midday now.

Ri was at the waterfall. The water splashed on her making her smile. The water sparkle in the sun. She loved the flowers that grew around the waterfall.

She is now thirteen so she was old enough to venture around the beautiful forest.

Her mother was under the weather so so wanted to pick her some flowers to make her feel better. She is so sweet and considerate about others.

She decides to take a break. The heat was killing her. She felt like she was going to melt. She laid down on the grass under the shaded tree.

Her hair was spread across the grass. Her brown eyes have seen so much beauty. Her lips looked so glossy pink. Unknown to her the eyes watching her every move.

Lucas's pov

She looked so pretty. I also watch her in my free time. It is sometimes hard because I have to juggle between my kingdom and been the alpha against her.

She will always be more important to me because she is my mate after all. I was pulled out of thought when I noticed she was leaning against the tree trying to take out the grass stuck in her hair.

She pushed her long brown hair to the side and I saw the skin that was showed to me. Well not to me because she had no idea I was here. But there was also no one else so it was meant for me.

I wanted to touch her skin. I wanted to run my hands down her long hair. She is just very pretty. No, beautiful for her age. As she walked her blew side to side.

She is officially a teenager now. Her body is beginning to change and she is developing curves. She is becoming a gentle lady.

She walked all the way to the flower field closer to her house. As she was walking she did not notice that the path was wet.

Ri's pov

I slipped and fell down due to the path being wet. It hurts so bad. I tried to get up but I can not. It hurts.

The tears flooded my eyes. I could not scream because I was far away from home. The pain was overbearing.

I thought I would be stuck here because my parents will not be able to come and rescue me.

Suddenly someone came behind me...

Lucas's pov

She was really in pain. I could see that and I felt hurt. I do not ever want to see her in pain or cry. She is my mate after all.

I went behind her and put a blindfold on so she could not see my face. I gently pick her up and she looks so shocked.

"Hey , who are you? And what are you doing? Put me down!" Said Ri trying to take the folds off but I grabbed her hands.

"I am good looking creature. If I put you down how will you get help! Do you want me to drop you? I will if you take off the blindfold. Okay?" I said smirking at her not that she could see.

"Yes!" Ri said obediently.  I do like obedient girls.

" You will not do anything bad to me? Right!" She asked concerned.

"Of course not! I am not a monster that prey's on young girls." I replied.

"You never know!" She said laughing.

Her laugh is so beautiful and contagious. She leaned against my chest. I put my face next to her neck.

 "You smells so nice." She looked shocked after what I said.

Finally we reached her house. I put her on her bed. "Can you take this off now?" She asked pointing at the blindfold.

"No!" I replied sternly.

While treating her leg she looked sleepy. Finally I remove the blindfold but her vision was blurred.

"Thank y..." Before she could finish I stole a kiss from her lips.

"You are mine now. I took my reward for helping you." Before she could say anything her vision goes black. I left a note before leaving

'Make no mistake. I will have you , my dear.'
