Chapter Nineteen - Heat

The colourful evening sky had just disappeared from view. Only the starry night sky could be seen.

Upon opening their room door Ri walked in and her mesmerising brown orbs stared into the crimson red orbs of Lucas.

Looking at his wife he pulled her closer to him. He knew she was angry at him but he was at a point where that no longer mattered. The need for her was much stronger.

Ri got out of his tried to leave the room but was unsuccessful. She was now pinned to her wall. She could the lust and passion in those red eyes of his.

Ri's pov

"I can smell you from other side of the castle." Said Lucas as he kissed down my neck.

"Just let me go please!" I said as I stuggled to break free from his hold.

"Never , you smell so ripe. You scent calls me to mate you." He said as his breath tickles my skin.

"I do not understand!" His words are confusing me.

"You see my beloved mate. Every moon circle when the crescent moon is at its peak. It is like a chemical reaction to werewolf alpha males." He speaks in a husky low voice that sends shivers down my spine.

Lucas moved my long hair to the side exposing the mate mark he left on my skin. His longs fingers touched my mark that was shaped like a crescent moon. He placed a soft kiss while I turned my head to the side.

He pulled my chin up making me stare into those crimson red eyes of his. I had to admit they were extremely attractive. Everything about him was attractive.

He closed the remaining moment between us with a passionate kiss. I could feel him biting my lower lip asking for entrance.

Lucas's pov
