Chapter Thirty - The Hidden Secret

The sun shined brightly in the beautiful blue morning sky. Not a single cloud could be seen.

The kingdom as well as Neopack could finally rest in peace for their enermy has been vanquished.

There was no one threatening their happiness any longer but they had been severely injured due to the battle. All they could do was rest to regain their strength again.

Laying on the bed Ri had a playful smile on her face as she held her precious son in her arms. She thought she would never get to see him again. She thought she would never get to see him grow up?

She smiled again at how fortunate she was to have Luka in her life. The apple of her eye.

Lucas had some work to take care of regarding the kingdom's affairs so he left early morning . Leaving Ri to do as she pleases.

Ri's pov

I rose up gently from bed not wanting to wake Luka up. Yesterday night when I held him after so many days we both drowned in tears.

I never thought I would miss Lucas. I miss his presence and the warmth of his body. Now that he is not here my heart yearns to see him.

Looking around the room had I once again returned to. A complete mess it was. I suppose Lucas created it in a fit of rage when I was taken. No one even dared to come into the room because their feared his anger.

So I decided today I would spend the return to room to its former glory.

I let the hot water embrace my skin as I washed my body with rose scented soap.

After bathing and feeding Luka his milk. I decided to proceed to turn the room to its once beautiful state.

I opened the huge draw that his clothes were kept. Fixing the mess on floor. I stood up to hang his clothing in their respective holders.

I was nearly done when a well maintained golden box caught my attention. Why was it there and what was in it?

What was its hidden secret?

I slowly opened the box to be blown away. Shocked graced my face as my lips trembled.

Inside there were notes! My notes that I left for the mystery man who kept haunting me dreams and thoughts. There were pictures of me growing up too.

Nothing made sense. Why would Lucas hold these possessions?

A flood of thoughts hit me hard! More like a recollection of memories. It was Lucas! He is the same wolf who saved me! He is the man from my dreams. The stalker who visited me at night. The man who always saved me from danger.

He has always been there but why have I not been able to recognise? Why are all these lost fragments of my memory coming to life?

Lucas it looks like your spell has been broken. I remember everything.

Suddenly his mother entered the room catching my off guard.

"My dear, I looked everywhere for you!" Said his mother as she comes closer.

"I see you found Lucas's hidden secret that he kept away from you. You down darling , Lucas has lived long but has had no mate. When he found out about you he was over the moon. He would run of to see you any moment he had. That was the first time seeing him so happy. He turely loves you. He regrets deeply that your relationship started with force. But he was under pressure from the rival gang. He had to make you his as soon as possible. I am telling you this because I know he never would. He has loved you for so happy years now. Make my son happy!" She said rubbing my back.
