Chapter Eighteen - Broken

The clear night sky was far from peaceful now. The moon was covered by a thick lining of dull clouds.

The beautiful moonlight could not escape. The sky was now dull and windy. Thunder could be heard. Lighting could be seen.

There sat on the Ri looked so heartbroken. The scent of her tears could be felt from a mile away. Lucas hated the sight of his beautiful wife crying her heart out.

It was all his fault. If he were not so rough then this would not happen. The sound of her cries reached him it made this heart ache.

Ri's pov

My face was buried in the soft feather pillows. The tears rolled of my cheeks wetting the cover of the pillow.

"Look I did not mean to break it." Said Lucas while rubbing my back with his large large.

"But you did. You broke my special necklace!" I said as I can feel his fingers trailing up and down my back making circle motions.

"Why is so important to you!" Lucas asked playing with my hair.

"When I was little I was in the forest. I was attacked by a heartless wolf. As I thought I would never see another day a majestic wolf came to save me. Later that night I received the necklace. I do not know by who. But it necklace reminds me of that heroic wolf that I own my life to." I said as the could feel Lucas kissing the skin of my bare back.

Little did I know that the wolf I have so much respect for is the man besides me.
"Look at me!" He commanded.

I did not want to ever look at him. I know it is just a necklace but it is much more to me.

"I said look at me!" Lucas growled inpatiently.

I sighed in defeat. I got up wiping my face. I gently pulled the sheets to cover up my bare body. I look up staring into his eyes.

I know I look terrible. My nose is red. The cheeks must have a rosy colour to them. My eyes were puffy as I stared at him with blurred vision.

"You look pretty when you cry." Said Lucas while caressing my cheek with his large fingers.

"Please do not touch me!" I tried to remove his hand from my face but instead of backing off his lips devoured mine.

He pushed me back falling on the hovering over my small frame. He pinned my hands above my head. He kissed down my neck. I eyes started to feel heavy. The tearsflooded my vision.

"Please do not." I said while I cried.

"Do not cry. When you cry it does something to me and drives me insane." Said Lucas with his husky voice.

I did not expect him to stop but he did. He retreated to his side of the bed leaving me in peace.

Lucas's pov

A few weeks have past since the last incident.

She has been avoiding me but who can blame her. I had no idea that she felt that way about my wolf form. She is right.

Her life belongs to me the very moment I first saw her. I thought drifted away as I smelt her delicious scent.

I make my way to the garden and notice her sitting with Jisung playing with all the young pups of the clan. She looked so happy playing with children. She would make a perfect one too.

That is it I made my decision. Good thing that it is the right time thanks to the moon phase.

"So what is your pack called?" Ri asked Jisung.

"Neo pack. And it has been ruled by the Wong family for generations. And still generations to come." Said Jisung.

"So how do you choose your alpha?" She asked again.

"The alpha is the strongest in the pack. The leader. The most feared and respected. That is brother. Our father was once alpha and he trained his first son Lucas to be next in line. I am the original beta because I have alpha blood in my veins. Co-beta's are wolves who we trust and that are close to So Lucas will probably train your first son because he will be the heir of your clan. The next in line for the throne." Ri blushed as she heard Jisung's words.

The sun was now set and it was getting dark. She bid the kids and Jisung goodbye and made her way to our bedroom chambers.

When she opened the door red eyes flashed at her.
