Lucas finally found his mate but the question is what is he going to do? He eyed the baby. He wondered what destiny had in plan for them.
Never in his wildest dreams he thought of being mated to a human. The results are unexpected. How was he going to protect her?
Her mother had put her down once she noticed the baby was asleep. When she left the room and Lucas took the opportunity to jump in through the window.
He was careful enough not to wake up the baby nor her parents. Each step closer to her it felt like a magnet attracting him.
His manly hands caressed her baby cheeks. It was a spark. Like lightning. Never had he felt like this before. He waited for this moment for years to come.

Lucas noticed how adorable his mate is. From a baby she is blessed with beauty. Her hair was tried in a cute little ponytail.
Her big brown eyes were closed. Her tiny hands and legs were rapped in a pink cuddly blanket. Her cute little nose had no signs of her catching a cold. It was a cold night after all. It is not the place for a baby.
Words could never describe the way lucas is feeling right now.
He finally has someone who he can trust. He will make her happy there is no doubt about it. Or so he thought...
Lucas's pov
No one ever told me the satisfaction I would receive by just having her in my arms.
I want to keep her close to me. It will be risky. She could be placed in danger. The best way to mess with an alpha is by tageting his mate. I can not let her get hurt.
I also can not deprive her of her parents love. She is a growing child after all. She should be experience happiness and bliss through out her childhood. I do not dream of taking that away from her.
When the time is right I will come back for her. With a heavy heart I have to give her up for now. Every chance I get I will come to see her.
I waited for her to come to me for so long. It is unfair that we just met but already have to say our goodbyes.
Today was a day to remember. That is for sure.
I made my way back to her parents house. I think they would notice that she is missing. I slipped through the window and put her down in her room.
Once covering her up with the adorable blankets. I started to walk away making my heart ache.
For the last time our hands met and I made a promise. I will take her sooner or later.
I just have to secure the land and make sure everything is perfect until the day she becomes mine fully.
I found a piece of paper and wrote words on them. I left her with a note that says
'I will always protect and love you till forever come! My little princess.'
I hope my feelings will reach her someday until then... all I can do is patiently wait.
