"Now, watch out." Evren tilts her head, watching as Claire comes down the hallway with two guards. "One of them killed his father with a scalpel. I don't know about the rest, but don't take any chances. We just need to quarantine them until the cops can--"

"Claire," Evren calls, stepping into the hallway, eyeing the Hand moving through the hall.

"Oh, my God!"

"What the hell?"

Evren stays in front of them, even as one strides ever closer. When Claire gasps, she glances over her shoulder to see the other end blocked, too. The guards rush forward, stupidly, their backs to Evren.

Rot doesn't hesitate to make itself known, lurching over their skin and hunching her shoulders as it roars. The Hand ninjas step backwards, faltering, before moving forward once more. The guards are already down, within just seconds.

Rot grabs the nearest one that was skirting by them, tightening its hold until the man screams as he's forced into two. Rot drops the man, moving onto the others with stony indifference, snarling quietly. More draw blades, and Rot huffs.

'You undead shits.' It states, plunging them into a battle that's easily won. Five against a creature that can't be hurt by blades or arrows. The fight itself is unfair- tendrils that act as arms split from its back and rip people apart with ease while Claire watches, screaming, beside her friend. They're all dead, again, within a few crunches, bites, and tearing them in half. Gory, but it does exactly what was needed.

Rot twists, watching a Hand that somehow entered the window dragging Claire across the floor.

'I will devour you.' It warns, but the Hand is already leaping from the window. Rot slithers free, falling even faster than the humans, wrapping Clair in itself, cutting the rope holding the Hand monstrosity, and lets itself hit the ground. The undead splatters across the ground, and Claire screams in its arms.

The Hand workers scatter across the rooftop, dragging the kids with them, but Rot lets Matt chase them, instead standing and checking over Claire to make sure she wasn't hurt, before leaping up the hospital walls, claw marks remained in the brick.

It stops at Foggy's window, perching, and knocks a knuckle against the glass. When Foggy's pale, scared face shows, Rot smiles in what it hopes is reassuringly.

'They are gone now.' It pauses. 'Angel says hi.'

"Bastard." Evren remarks, coolly, within the symbiote. "At least they're gone now." Rot lets Evren lead them to the roof, where Matt's approaching with a scowl, sinking back into her skin. "you catch them?"

"No. They disappeared." He snarls, yanking a bag from the hiding place he stashes his civilian clothes in. "Couldn't eve-" He pauses, shaking his head. "Couldn't hear them, couldn't smell them. They just disappeared, and so did the patients. That's never happened before." He yanks his help off, then works on the top of his armor, while she settles on the edge of the hospital, drooping her head on her arms.

"So, they got their blood bags back, we don't know what they want with them, they disappered, they're much more organized than we thought, and they have deep pockets. Oh, and apparently Nobu is alive. Great. You said Stick told you they knew the secret of immortality?"

"Yeah, but," he scoffs. "didn't actually think it was true. I mean, immortality?" He shrugs on his shirt, sighs, and nudges his boots off. "Not even you're going to live forever, and you have an alien inside you."

"Well, that just means we have to find their weakness. They know ours, fire and sounds, but they obviously didn't except me to recuperate so fast, by the looks I saw on the Hands' faces. They have immortality." She sighs. "We just have to, you know, figure out exactly what's giving them immortality and break it, kill it, or destroy it any other way there is. What a plan that is--like twelve percent of one."
