【Book One ----- Season One】COMPLETED
In which a young girl falls in love with a boy, who loves someone else while trying to figure out the dangerous town of Beacon Hills.
❝So... Lydia? You really love her?❞
❝Yeah. She's the most beautiful girl I've...
Right after school, Scott, Stiles, and I met up. We are in the woods to look for Scott's inhaler, which he lost last night. I couldn't believe he had asthma. It sure didn't look like it.
"I don't - I don't know what it was. It was like I had all the time in the world to catch the ball." Scott stated, perplexed about what happened at lacrosse practice today, "And that's not the only weird thing. I - I can - hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear. Smell things."
I furrowed my eyebrows surprised that it sounded so familiar. "It's been happening to me too." A confused look crossed his expression as he continued over a river. Stepping into the filthy water. I began crossing after him, stepping over wet rocks. My shoes were soaked, but I didn't mind it. I thought I was doing well until my foot slid off a rock. My body jerked unbalanced.
"Woah." I heard Stiles mutter as his hands took hold of my waist. I regained my breath and proceeded forward, his hands still in place to hold me steady. When we got to the other side, I turned to Stiles. He was already smiling down at me but in a teasing kind of way.
Bashfully, I blushed at my clumsiness. "Thank you."
"I don't know... kinda seemed purposely," Stiles muttered teasingly.
My lips parted in surprise, flushing darker than before. "I - No."
The pale boy laughed loudly and patted the back of my shoulder tenderly. "I'm just kidding."
I rolled my eyes, causing him to grin. We proceeded to stroll right beside Scott as he kept on walking. It was so strange how comfortable we were since we had just met. I liked it, however.
Stiles looked at Scott curiously, eyebrows raised. "Smell things?" He smirked, "Like what?"

The latter lifted his head, sniffing the air. His eyebrows knitted with curiosity before he turned to me, "Can you smell that too?"
I frowned and sniffed, only to find a powerful minty scent lingering. I blinked, taken back, and looked at Stiles, "Is that... Mint - Mojito gum in your pocket?"
Stiles sighed, unconvinced, and slipped his hand into his pocket. "I don't even have any Mint - Mojito -" His face fell, and his eyes widened as he felt something. He pulled out a half-eaten piece of gum before sending us a look before we continued walking, still amazed. Our eyes wandered around, looking for the small inhaler. "So, all this started with a bite."
Scott nodded as he continued walking. "What if it's like an infection, like, our body's flooding with adrenaline before I go into shock or something?"
An intense sensation came to me, and I felt my head begin to hurt. I put my hand on the bridge of my nose, closing my eyes in pain.
"You know what? I actually think I've heard of this." I glanced at Stiles with a raised brow questioningly. "It's a specific kind of infection."
Scott stopped in his place and looked at him, overwhelmed. "Are you serious?" I turned to look at the other boy too.
