Episode: Wolf Moon
Stiles' Jeep pulled up into the driveway of my home. I unbuckled and opened up the door. So much nervousness and anxiety was coursing through me. Just as I was getting off, a hand gently grabbed mine. I looked over at Stiles, who was wearing a sympathetic expression.
"Whatever happens tonight, you can count on me, okay?"
Our eyes connected, and I felt my lips curl softly. I nodded, "Yeah... Okay."
"Do you need me to pick you up?"
I smiled a bit bigger "No, I'm fine. I'll probably take a while to get there anyway, but I'll see you there."
He nodded, smiling at me. "Definitely. If you need a ride, just call."
I nodded with a smile as I got off the Jeep. I then walked to my front door.
As soon as I went to my room, I showered quickly. Lathering in the sweet soap and trying not to hurt the wounds on my body. The bite marks seemed to be healing well, but they were still vulnerable to the touch. They were deep cuts.
Once the shower was done, I slipped into my underwear before ensuring my wounds were cared for. In my bathrobe, I began tearing my closet apart to look for a dress I had bought before coming to Beacon Hills. Supposedly, I was going to wear it, but I never did because I spent my days in bed not wanting to do anything.
I groaned, frustrated. My phone began to ring, making my head snap over to my bed. I quickly went over and looked at the caller ID.
UNKNOWN CALLER
I raised an eyebrow and was about not to answer, but something told me I probably should. So I did.
"Hello?" I asked, pressing the phone to my ear, my eyebrows furrowed.
"Thaís, you are coming to the party, right?" Lydia Martin spoke through the speaker on my phone.
"Uh, hey, Lydia." My voice cracked, feeling awkward, taken aback by the urgency in her tone, "Yeah, I'm going."
"Good to know... after I called you like a million times."
My face screwed slightly. "Sorry. I forgot I gave you my number. I haven't added you in my contacts."
"Really?" She questioned, unimpressed, making me frown. A sigh was heard from her side, "Well, whatever. Send me your address. I'm picking you up." Before I could answer her, a tone rang, indicating she had hung up. I pulled the phone away from my ear, knitting my brows in confusion.
Nevertheless, having no choice, I texted her my address and rummaged through my closet until I finally found the dress. It would cover my injured shoulder. I didn't really care about my calf. It was going to be crowded. No one would see.
I slipped on some black heels and curled my hair. As I opened my make-up palette, the doorbell rang. I went downstairs and opened the front door to show Lydia standing there.
In less than a second, she was eyeing my look. She hummed softly before smiling at me. "This so makes up for not adding me to your contacts."
I giggled. "Well, it was my intention. By the way, you look amazing." Lydia chuckled and rolled her eyes playfully. "I need your help with my make-up."
She grinned, "Right on time, aren't I?"
I smiled and led her into my bedroom. We sat on my bed. A question was brought up about the bandage on my leg. I lied. It seemed to work because she gently glided eyeshadow across my eyelids - Eyeliner and then mascara. I added the lip gloss. Lydia took a step back and hummed, inspecting me. She smirked. "Dazzling." I smiled at her.
