Christian's POV

As the game was starting, I found where Cassie was. In her normal seat by the dugout, she was holding her nephew on her lap, while getting her picture taken by Larisa. She was so good with kids, and it was such an amazing thing to see.

Cassie had finally looked up and seen me. She gave me a small smile, and I returned it. All I could remember were the words, "Hit a home run for me"

I put all my attention back on the game and watched the pitcher. As I went up to bat, I could hear Cassie and Larisa cheer for me.

I ended up striking out on my first at bat. I looked back and seen Cassie and she got a sad look when she seen my expression. 'Cheer up for me' she mouthed to me.

I smiled at her and headed back into the dugout. Now I wanted to go all out for her. She told me that she liked when I would dive and slide and I thought that was absolutely funny and cute. I laughed to myself and Lorenzo looked at me.

"You okay? You've been a lot more peppy lately. Not that you are never happy, it's just different," He told me.

I shrugged my shoulders, "Oh I really haven't noticed."

I grabbed my sunglasses and my glove and continued watching the game. When I got out on the field, the second batter hit one to me. I laid out and surprisingly made the catch. Josh struck out the next batter and we ran in. Cassie was smirking at me and I laughed a little.

After the game, I didn't have a chance to see Cassie, but I ended up hitting a home run, so that made me happy. The only thing we were able to do, was shower before heading back to Milwaukee.

"So Yeli, you got a new girl or what?" The guys asked as we got on the bus.

"What makes you think that?" I asked getting my phone out of my bag.

"Number one, your neck, number two, it's just your acting super happy," Someone said.

"Okay I can be happy without having a girlfriend," I said and put my Beats on.

"So who's the lucky lady?" I heard Lorenzo ask.

I smiled and shook my head and turned on my music. Before checking any messages, I turned my brightness down all the way.

C 💙- great job out there today babe, can't wait to see you again

I quickly texted back and locked my phone. The guys were all staring at me, and I laughed once again. I soon had fallen asleep on the bus.

Cassie's POV

I had went back to my parent's place. Although I had my own job and, was old enough to have my own place, my parents liked me to live with them. Even though it was nice to always have a place at home, I wanted to get my own apartment for a while. At some point, my own house. That was just something I had to look into.

"Thought we'd never see you," My mom said as I walked into the front door.

"Sorry, I was safe though. Next time I'll let you guys know," I said and walked upstairs.

"Yeah that's a great idea," My dad said.

I went upstairs and into my room. Christian had texted me, but I didn't end up responding because I fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up because it was Monday morning and I was still subbing. When I got to the school, I headed to the class that I've been subbing for about the last month and a half.

"How was your weekend Ms. B? What did you do?" One of the students had asked as I was taking role.

"Just a sec," I said and finished filling out the paper, "It was great, my brother was back in town for baseball, so I got to see him."
