Cassie's POV

When I got home, I looked into the apartment some more. Suddenly I was interrupted by my dad asking, "Whatcha doing?"

I jumped a little, and closed my laptop, "Nothing, why what's up?"

"Doesn't seem like nothing. You can tell me what you're doing."

"Fine, I'm looking at apartments so I can move out," I said and his smile turned into a frown.

"You're planning on moving out?" He asked.

"Yes Dad. I'm literally going to be 25 and I'm still living with you guys. You never worried when Ryan moved out and he was out a lot sooner than I was."

"Well you're our baby. What can I do to make you stay? Buy you the newest Jeep?" He asked and I laughed a little.

"Dad I'm capable of buying what I want plus the Jeep I have is still in good condition. I haven't had it too long," I said opening my laptop once again.

"Are you sure, it would be nice to have another car don't you think?"

"Dad no matter what you say or do, I'm still going to be moving out," I told him and he nodded his head okay.

He left the room and then I got a call from Christian, "Hey daddy," I said and then he looked at the camera with a smirk.

"Hey babe, so we just got an update," He said and took a long pause.

"Well I'm waiting for the information," I told him and he laughed.

"Season is cancelled for now, I'll be back tomorrow sometime," He said and I nodded my head and then looked at my laptop again, "Whatcha looking at?"

"Apartments, so I could get out of my parent's place," I said and his smile went down a little.

"Oh that's cool," He said and it wasn't enthusiastic at all.

"Do you want to go look with me on Saturday morning? And then we could go on a date that night or something?"

"Yeah we could do that," He said and there was a small silence for a couple of seconds, "I really wish baseball wasn't getting cancelled."

"I'm sorry babe," I told him not knowing what else to say to him.

"Hey at least I get to spend some time with you again," He said and his smile grew.

"We should watch another scary movie," I said and he shook his head and laughed a little.

"You were scared the entire time, and you were cuddled all into me."

"That's the point babe," I said and chuckled.

"We don't have to watch a scary movie for you to be cuddled into me babe," He said and I nodded my head okay.

"So do you know the exact time you're getting back tomorrow?"

"Um I think around 2," He said and I sighed. I wanted to surprise him with dinner but he was definitely going to beat me to his house.

"Okay, what time should I come over?"

"How about 5? So I could get settled in, and then you can go pick up some more wine or something?"

"Yeah I definitely can do that," I said and then there was a knock on my door, "Don't say anything Christian."

My parents walked in, "Cassie you're planning on moving out? Why so soon?" My mom asked.

"Mom I'm almost 25 and I want to live on my own and not have to worry about my parents paying every single bill for me. I can depend on myself to pay for everything. I've just grown up and don't need to be living at home at the age of 25."
