Cassie's POV
It didn't take long for them to call us back. I laid on the table and lifted my shirt. They had me pee in a cup and take blood tests. Christian and I waited patiently for the people to come back into the room.
"So it looks like it was a false positive," The lady said coming into the room. "You're period can just be a couple days late."
"Okay thank you so much," I said and she left the room again.
I looked at Christian and hugged him. "In a few years or so, we will plan to have one." Christian said.
"Yeah we will be more prepared then," I said and we left the doctors office.
Christian drove us back to his place and when we got there I changed into my shorts and crop top again.
"So can I get some before you're on your period?" Christian asked.
"I don't know maybe," I said and he nodded.
"What do you want for breakfast?" I thought about it for a moment. He stared at me while I was thinking.
"Eggs with sausage and bacon. But can you make it into a bowl?" There was a little bit of confusion on his face and he finally got it.
He started making the food and about 15 minutes later he was finished. I went and sat with him at the table. We started eating and I stopped for about a minute. Within that minute I admired all of Christian's features. He finally noticed me staring and he stopped as well. Christian smiled at me, "What?" He asked.
"I'm sorry I was just looking at your features," I said and he smiled.
"Babe can we have a serious talk?" He asked me and I nodded my head. "How many kids do you want? If we have kids, like how would this even work? They stay with you all the time in California and in the off-season that's when I see them?"
"You know I have been thinking about this. I might just not get this teaching job after all. Maybe just live with you when you're in Milwaukee, and when your season is over we go live back in California together. At the same time I think about how am I going to provide for our family. Maybe just become a baker full time and that's how I can make money? Like it's a very stressful thought process, and it drives me crazy. I don't want you paying for everything because that's not fair."
"Well I wouldn't mind paying for everything-" He said and I cut him off.
"But that's not what I want you to do. Sure I have some money in my bank account but it's not going to last for a lifetime. Especially if I want to keep getting you some nice gifts," I said and he smiled.
"Speaking of gifts, we need to order you a new bracelet," He said and pulled out his phone.
He reordered the bracelet and it was going to be here in a couple weeks.
"I'm so sorry that that happened," I said and looked at my wrist where my bracelet should be.
"It wasn't your fault don't worry," He said.
"If I would've just stayed here you wouldn't have had to bought another $12,000 bracelet and you would have an extra $12,000."
"It's fine, don't worry about it," He said and kissed my hand.
We continued eating and when we were done we laid on the couch together. I ended up falling asleep in his arms.
Christian's POV
I was so in love with Cassie. The way her lips moved when she talked. How she always said she wanted to do something then ended up falling asleep in my arms. When she wanted ice cream her favorite flavor was mint chocolate chip but if she wanted to be healthier than she would get Halo Top.
