(New Chapter!!! It's a little short, sorry but I will upload another one next week and I think I'll upload every week from now on and that will leave me some time to write the ending (I'm on chapter 39 now but I'll be out of town next week so I probably won't have a lot of time and then I have all my exams so it will be a little slow, sorry. Anyway, I'm glad you like the book and I love your comments so keep 'em coming! Oh and don't forget to vote also! xx)

                                                                         *

We drove back home in the afternoon and arrived late in the evening, or should I say next morning. We slept for a long time, to try to recover from all those emotional moments, and only woke up in the middle of the afternoon. We hung out with Jenny and then Damon got a phone call so he went out to answer. When he came back, he seemed a little troubled.

“Is everything ok?” I asked.

He sat next to me and smiled, but it didn’t look really truthful.

“Who was on the phone?”

“My parents…”

I was a little surprised. Damon didn’t talk a lot about his parents and I had forgotten that they knew their son was going to die. I was wondering what they were thinking of him buying a house away from them. I’m sure his mom wanted him to stay home so that she could spend time with him while she still could.

“What’s going on?”

“Nothing, it’s just that… every time I have them on the phone they start crying, and telling me they’re going to miss me and I just… I tend to avoid talking to my parents. But they kept calling for the past few days so I’ve got to take their calls sometimes.”

I took his hand, not really knowing what to say. He changed the subject and asked me what was next on the list. We went through it and I pointed at Experience Weightlessness.

“How the hell are we supposed to do that?” I inquired. “Unless you want to study to be an astronaut or something…”

“I’ve heard of a place that allows to experience weightlessness. Wait a second, I’ll look on the Internet.”

He took my computer and started searching then stopped and read out loud:

“Zero Gravity Flights: Experience zero-gravity in a uniquely personal way. Our newest zero-g adventure takes place across the state from the Kennedy Space Center, at the Aurora Aerospace Training Center in St Petersburg, Florida.”

“Oh my god! Can we do it?”

He looked online and nodded.

“Apparently yes. Wow, I never thought this would be possible! I just wrote it like that!”

“When can we go?”

“Whenever you want.”

We screamed, excited and looked for more information on how we could go there and how it worked. Then we planned the trip and booked plane tickets. We were going tomorrow afternoon. When I told that to Jenny, she insisted in coming with us but there was no way I was going to let my best friend ruin her year in college. She had studied really hard for those exams so she was going to pass them. She said she was going to miss me and then hugged me for a long time. I promised I’d be back soon but I knew soon wasn’t going to be before a few weeks. It was late so I went upstairs with Damon and we lay in my bed then my phone rang. I didn’t answer the first time but it rang again so I grabbed it.
